Check out the annual reports on charter school performance. In NJ, especially the urban areas of Newark and Camden, charter schools are out performing regular traditional public schools. Whether you agree or disagree philosophically or politically the facts are our children, especially African American, are benefiting from attending charter schools and the achievement gap is closing. What could you possibly argue about that?

I totally agree with hinness, we need VOUCHERS. the public school system is a MONEY PIT. Public schools are socialist/communist by definition. Socialism is not a new idea, it is an old idea that has failed time and time again. Competition will bring quality schools at lower prices to people. Follow the rabbit, take the pill, you have been lied to.
