Bravo young lady. Keep up the good work. I'm a pianist also, and I hated the middle section of this piece growing up (the 32nd notes). The left hand seems loud in this video, but I think it's because the microphone is placed at the left side of the keyboard, so the lower strings are closer to it.

I could play the Fur Elise by the age of four, it's not difficult if you practice, the Fur Elise is actually quite easy as most of the keys are the same until the song fully begins.

In the mid 80's I had a girlfriend who was cosidered a prodigy at the time. She was 16 yrs old.

Fur Elise was the first song she ever played for me and since that day I have become a classical music lover.

I don't know if it's because of the internet but these days child prodigies seem to explode from everywhere.

This 9 yr old girl for example has a tremendous gift and I applaud her.

I'm 12, and i can play that. Well done, i think (in my opinion. Im no expert at the piano -.-) she's playing a bit too loud at SOME parts. Because i remember the piece having that P at the beginning. Not to sound jaded or cynical, but this vid is probably popular with piano-loving pedos. Also, people are always blown away by young kids with musical skills, but if you think about it, music is like a language, and that's the age when kid's brains are primed to learn language, to enable them to communicate with others in their group - it's a survival thing - so, with proper training, yeah, a kid could learn music pretty well.
