  • Stop clapping, it´s really annoying, and the people who are doing it don´t understand what they are doing

  • Jesus... this woman. This is my problem with people like this. They don't get it. And this woman doesn't want to get it. She's talking too much. She should take a lesson from her child. Effortless silence.

  • The message is to know the Self and still the mind. Only with a still mind can you navigate through the most treacherous of waters. If you act out of fear, anxiety or anger, you'll likely do more harm than good. With a still mind you're also able to clearly see your strengths and weaknesses and less likely to get involved in a way that puts you in way over your head.

  • I have 4 children. My fears for the world were at one time overwhelming, and it is only through paying attention to my own emotional condition that I discovered the art of relaxation in this area. Seeing myself reflected in so many ways and accepting life in these terms, has brought me to bare witness to a few people who speak wise and encouraging words. The world I see is diverse, sometimes distracting, but largely amazing and flourishing it is a 'being', as immortal as we, and is in no danger.

  • Every one-to-one that we encounter is an chance to see ourselves more clearly. We are reflections of each other, and are attracted to 'like' aspects. We experience each other through emotions. To be self-aware or 'know thyself' in practical terms is enabled by acceptance of ourselves and others emotionally. Feelings give us an honest footing in the world, the most intense emotions help us to reach for improvement. We 'all' want to feel better when the 'dog bites'. From this truth clarity abides.

  • Yes. She struggles. It is this condition which exemplifies her fears for the world. Her emotions are her honesty. Mooji sees her attachment to anxiety and struggles to guide her to the point of 'seeing' rather than 'feeling'. Both people come together here, to bare witness to each other in this 'illusionary struggle'. The intensity is remarkable. Being in the presence of of each other gives rise for both to expand through experience. One only 'appears' to be the seer. Both are in the heart.

  • This woman thinks she is sharing....and struggles to listen

  • Interesting

  • lol what a bunch shit

  • "When the blind lead the blind...both fall into a ditch". Mooji is pointing to a simple truth. If we "think" we know...we don't. When we KNOW...we don't ask this question (that she's asking). Einstein also said that a problem cannot be solved by the same consciousness that created it. It must go beyond the mundane.

  • I can't believe 98% of the people who watched this video liked it. A realized being seems that they are the world and the world is them...they are ordinary people who are extremely responsible (how could you not be when you fully see that you are the world).

Mooji getting triggered here and subsequently being arrogant and condescending is truly sad. He did not show respect for this woman, who is clearly more awake then he, and his irresponsibility is shown in allowing this horrendous clapping.

  • @spiritualhealingct

Yes he was discreetly very disrespectful, but everyone seems to think this becomes a competition of "those who are awakened" or who has attained more in whatever sense. Don't you see that positive and constructive people COLLABERATE instead of COMPETE? Anyone claiming/spreading "spiritual knowledge," of any kind, should never encounter a situation such as this video, where we see an obvious disagreement and power struggle b/w two people who both want to save the world.

  • this is something i have felt but couldnt articulate for a while. this is the liberal conservative debate right here. i needed to hear this, thank you.

  • what a lesson. how powerful is the grasp of beliefs and how blind we are in ignorance.

  • If an "Ego" perceives it is being 'attacked', it fears it will vanish... and the person whom it infects, will mistakenly feel THEY will be destroyed along with their 'ego-illusion', and an inbuilt ego-reflex will throw up a "SHIELD" to everything YOU are saying... You must ask the ego to look at itself, for it to see it is nothing. People's mistake themselves for their chosen and inherited beliefs... and they fear that without them, they will be "nothing"... the FEAR.

  • People have been tricked into seeing themselves as SEPARATE - not in need of Nature - not in HARMONY with Nature - if this is so, let me see You exist in health and happiness OUT IN DEEP SPACE - people MUST recognize the trees ARE YOUR LUNGS - the WATER IS YOUR BLOOD - the AIR IS YOUR SPIRIT - The PLANTS and INSECTS and the ANIMALS are THAT SAME LIFE YOU ARE

  • @carsonshall

THANK YOU. People like Mooji simply perpetuate the status quo, which will give no actual aid to the planet.

  • No one needs to challenge one who is free, one who is free benefits all and tries to show you that first try come to peace, then see if you can go to war.

  • he looks just like his brother Barry White.

  • this is the best mooji video EVER!

  • That was difficult and wonderful all at the same time. I found that lady's insistance so difficult and then I realised that it was my own insistance that "i know" that I was seeing. I have been on a mission to persuade others of how bad the world is - what a guilt trip! The world is "the outside picture of an inward condition." -A Course in Miracles

  • It is NOT the Human being, but the Human ANIMAL that is destroying the planet. Human beings are mature; their minds stand up straight with their bodies. Human animals are not mature and while they may stand up straight, their mind crawls on all fours.

  • seems only the little girl gets it

  • @carsonshall I think you should review these sections of the video 01:38 - 01:58, 03:05 - 03:25, 03:28 - 03:42, 05:55 - 06:30. Furthermore Mooji is not the only one who believes this, watch?v=SarcX-gLRzM.

  • Note to self: This is a good example of how the ego rises up and creates a threat from the "outside" that does not actually exist. The people around you are only destroying the planet if YOU desire to manifest that reality for yourself. It would be easy to say that this woman completely misses the point and that her ego has possessed her, but in fact, it is only a point of view generated by your own ego... she, and her problem, does not even need to exist in your own version of reality.

  • @VirgilFoxMusic

I very much agree with "you", a projection in my very own world. If you are fully aware of what you are saying then there is nothing but your Self percieving Itself in endlessly different forms. You can only react to ego or get upset about it if you still have it in you. Otherwise it's just a play of forms for your very own entertainment....The Divine Comedy

  • @MsSeb7777 Thank you, you're right and your point is duly noted. Unfortunately I still have it (ego) in me. It's a hard habit to break but I'm trying... :)

  • Thanks for sharing :))) NAMASTE!

  • am i wrong? is mooji a nihilistic misanthrop???... was he showing up his real self by saying a human beeing is not able of peace and sitting there as a human trying to teach us how to find peace??? haha??????

  • @NeidhardtMatthias It can't be taught. It has to be realized. He just reminds... over and over and over....

  • @NeidhardtMatthias

He completely fails to find an actual reply to the lady's initial question, and instead speaks only of becoming aware of oneself. He appears to forget her initial theme of saving the world, and somewhat stammers a generalized response. From then until the end of the video he is having a power trip contest with the woman, who only wants a practical response or example of how to help the world.

  • @Shappy90

In many of his videos, the wise tales he speaks seem to be him speaking more of himself or of his interaction with whoever is asking advice - referring to himself as a master and them as a student. Seeing this and other videos has made me think Mooji is a power hungry,idle-chatter who is telling others he can show them the way without answering questions.

  • @Shappy90 I was about to respond to your comment, but I do not see a point for me to do that anymore. You have you're own journey, and when you start to see the forest because your own trees has been pulled up, you will see things different and see that "the world" can be saved only by humans "waking up". Now I did respond! :) take care

  • @therealpizzaking

I did not wish to talk about myself, because this video is about Mooji and what I saw in his behaviors/words, but I would like to share that I am a spiritual, caring, and nature-filled individual who sees the problems of the world, and I am already working on my own positive plan of action to aid others. I understand "waking up" benefits humanity, but in this video, the woman is stating she is comfortable with her life, and wants advice on how to go about helping others.

  • @therealpizzaking

What really set me off about this and other of Mooji's videos is his body language. If you truly pay attention to how he states things, where/WHEN he directs his eye contact, shifts his feet, plays with his hands, you'll see that he acts/feels high and mighty compared to this woman, or anyone else asking him advice. "Waking up" should reinforce our equality, not make us hang on every word that some power-tripping "spiritual leader" coughs up.

  • @therealpizzaking

The majority of his old wise tales are him alluding to old wise men, giving advice to a novice or underling. He is visibly placing himself in the role of the wise man, preaching DOWN to his subjects. I'm sorry, but this is not waking up for me. Please, pay attention to how he fully expresses himself/how he tells stories, and you'll see. Words can be deceiving, but through truly seeing the speaker you can decipher a meaning behind their behaviors. :) Peace and love

  • While he may spread good messages on an individual level, he fails to provide any insight on how to actually go about making the world a better place. He just says know yourself and it will come to you. While this is a great theory, there are many obstacles in the world for people to overcome, and advice is helpful.

  • @Shappy90 You might enjoy this video - watch?v=9UaBiG_83I0

  • @sporo2000

alot of great, fluffy language that is definitely positive, but I feel that the majority of the western world's problems (which then extend worldwide) stem from focusing on the self. Since birth, most of western society prides independence and personal gain, which is excellent, but leads to an eternal longing for individualized senses of happiness, often which become material. Many other cultures focus on community involvement, and their happiness is evident, aside from capital.

  • @ sporo200: also a book by J. Krishnamurti " You are the World". :-)

  • Lovely thought provoking words. As an addendum to Mooji's last statement, Alan Wattts and Terrence McKenna spoke about the same thing in that we should embrace our own divine essence and avoid looking up to leaders, icons and celebrities as that's external, what's important is keeping the internal flame alive by expressing our true nature -- watch?v=aySqymiraBA

  • @carsonshall I have to disagree with your here. Mooji addresses her question in the most forceful, most direct manner possible. However without some knowledge of the Eastern/Buddhist outlook his answer will not be recognized.

To borrow the Food aid song "We Are The World". As we are inside ourselves so the world is externally. The world is in effect a reflection of our being. If we change ourselves the world changes accordingly, and the way to that is to realize our true nature, ie who we are.

  • @sporo2000 I have to agree as well as disagree. My path of enlightenment was rooted in christianity. There is a call when you know who you are to help those who don't.

  • @TheSpiritUniversal watch this video - See this video watch?v=SarcX-gLRzM, which is a copy I titled correctly and added notes to. The original of that is here, watch?v=UyyjU8fzEYU. Mooji is not the only one who feels this way.

  • Satsang is hard to 'get', and even when you start to get it it is a slow process unless you've have a knack or are pre-attuned to it.

In that respect this lady is no different from many of us in our initial misconceptions of what satsang is or may be about.

She is as much the Self as anyone, the Self experiences the world through her eyes, through her living experience, and as her personality.

No matter how enlightened or deluded we are, we are always the Self.

  • the power and wisdom of this man all come from his compassion to all living beings...

  • thanks mu

  • This woman has all the answers she's looking for sitting peacefully, quietly, happily on her lap the entire time she's speaking. That little girl is the embodiment of exactly what Mooji is saying and is also himself.. she is so precious! This really did it for me.. I SURRENDER!~ l:-)

  • @carsonshall

very nice to hear that you work for a great cause...saving a life is priceless, assuming you are not only doing this for money, where do you get this inspiration from ? Is it not from within yourself ? Then, is it not worth exploring who you are and why you feel this way ? A "radical shift in the consciousness of the individual" cant be hammered from outside. People like Mooji are harbinger of this shift, he is actually helping your cause more than you realize.

    I have no path.

  • Mooji is speaks his truth. It is everyone "trying" to do something about everything that has pt this place in the shape that it is in. BE at Peace internally and the peace will flow externally. Don't fake it. BE it.

    -G

  • what i feel, as this human body cannot control the swirl of the cosmos, i've no interest to control another thing,

  • I'm a little concerned about the title of mooji's dvd: "urge for freedom". I say this because, in an earlier you tube, mooji said that "urges" are not good because when you "urge", this creates "urgent", which then manifests into "emergency". All of this as a result of thought. Maybe I'm misunderstanding or getting caught up in semantics, but a clarification would be appreciated.

Thanks for everything mooji. I listen to you very often.

  • Sorry my English, but It's great to see when Mooji says "yes yes... mmmh..." after 1:30. Then kid looks at Mooji and smiles widely, and points her mother's heart and then her own heart like saying; "can you see that we are one in here."

Well, maybe it's just my interpretation, but I keep it.

  • Wow - Wa! How perfect is this to see and feel, the frustrated energy and fear of this lovely woman, literally being passed on to her daughter energetically - which perfectly illustrates ego's perspecive of the world. And then to see and feel the emanation of stillness, insight, wisdom and deep peace from an Awakened Being. It is beautiful on so many levels. Mooji you are exquisite!

  • @carsonshall if you think he didn't answer her question, perhaps you should watch the video again.

  • Comment removed

  • i kept wondering what her daughter had to say...the little girl obviously wanted to speak.

  • The Kid is listening.

  • @carsonshall

Good point, what have you done about it till now ? Are you willing to risk your life to fight the people who are causing such destruction, if they come and offer you a million dollar to stop your activism, will you accept it or continue on your path....? Do you care about your kids more or the bees, given a choice, whom will you let go of ? The self righteousness which you are seeing is in you..wipe the dirt from your eyes, otherwise you will lose the way with all your missions...

  • that was the best mooji i have seen.

  • I whole heartedly wish people would watch videos like this, instead of tying themselves in knots watching DVDs like The Secret (no disrespect to Rhonda Byrne) and completely missing the point that the human form and negative thinking is what causes problems. Still, hopefully more people will become aware. At least that lady has started her journey.

  • DOUBLE COMMENT LETS DO IT

    I LOOOVE THIS VIDEEEOOOOO MOOOOJIJIIII

  • To fully see ourselves takes much gumption. It is easy to become trapped and it is easy to fall. There is always a way however so please strive on friends.

    Best of luck everyone!

Awesome video by the way! :D

  • What the lady speaks of is in ways very similar to what Arjuna has to learn from Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita...that we have karma (veils of ignorance) that need to be uncovered by walking our dharma. In this way, we become aware of our karma and subsequently resolve it, no longer being controlled by it.

  • Simple. It starts at home people...it starts at home... LOVE MOOJI

  • ¸♥★divine love ❤¸.•*""*•.¸❤

  • i can't believe how air headed this lady is, i mean the spiritual leader told her the answer and she just can't get it! her question is so weird.

  • mooji understands everything, and as much as the woman was very forceful towards him inwhich i found annoying)i think her asking him these questions is what some of us wanted to hear answers for, great video

  • @carsonshall The condition of the world about which you are complaining , is an outward display

of the disregard its inhabitants have for life itself. That is a disease as deep-rooted as anything can be. It isn't

cured by giving lectures or issuing mandates. It has to take place as a radical shift in the consciousness of the individual. Reformers have been stumping their causes forever and to no avail but to further a new brand of mischief.

  • It's more about saving yourself. You can't help let along save the planet unless you save yourself.

  • Let us not judge this woman, we have all been there, on our bandwagons. Grace brought her to Mooji.

  • @formlessbeing8 Good comment.

  • If we don't like what we see in the world, we need to look within, not without.

  • she has major issues !!

  • @yourtube20061: yeah, she's retarded and believes she is spiritual. go figure.

  • It appears to me that this lady is happy with who she believes herself to be (as she basically says...twice). So there is no motivation, no hunger to look deeper into her own intimate truth of existence. It is this most intimate sense of existences that dear Mooji is all about.

Who truly sees the phenomenal world in all its beauty and pain? Who am I, really? It is only in the acute discovery of our own purity of being that can change the phenomenal world to a depth of profound significance.

  • After awakening you realize nothing needs to be done, because ít's all in the Self. Any effort will be a fight against yourself, because all is one. Life is like a movie: you just have to watch it and remember that any emotion you feel during this movie can be transformed into peace. The hard part is that this 'moviescreen' is so big, and so in front of your eyes, you get the feeling you are playing a role in this movie, but that is the illusion. YOU ARE THE ONE AND ONLY AUDIANCE.

  • In going Within we do not go Without

  • what's up with the clapping, though? it seems so inappropriate @ satsang. & no need to embarrass the woman.

  • @JackHighlander - GODDAMN CLAP HAPPY HUMANS !!!

  • is it just me, or did her disquiet creep even into mooji's normally deep stillness? she's so eager to get back to what's wrong that i think mooji had to rush a little to try & quiet her down.

anyone familiar with bach flower essences here? she's such an archetypical vervain, with a "very dogged" point of view, wound tightly like a spring.

i've noticed this breed of "new-age fundamentalists" rise up in recent years, with their lovely but ultimately useless cliches.

  • @JackHighlander She kept professing an awakening, but I do not believe she was truly awakened. She is clearly on my current level of reality in which you are trying to look inside, but all you can see is the shitstorm going on around you and you try to think about what to do to change this. Maybe I am going about this the wrong way. Maybe the only true way to spread peace is to find it from within first. I'm glad for people like Mooji, he makes you think in a whole different way.

  • @LeJimster yeah, she's obviously not enlightened, but i think there may be many mini-awakenings on the way to true awakening, sometimes spanning lifetimes. the average person who hasn't heard a good description of enlightenment will easily confuse the 2. maybe life is a dream within a dream, etc, & she just woke up from one layer. my enlightened friend said enlightenment is like working hard putting together a jigsaw puzzle, & suddenly you spill all the pieces & they all magically fall in place.

  • Thank you Mooji! I love you.

  • Everyone born to realize or lost to the extent to do good or bad or for Nobel cause

There was no need to laugh or apologies

    Question was perfect

To have change, a fully awaken master can bring collective conciousness to save the world

  • @KSanth100 : be the change you want to see, don't expect anyone else to come and fix the world for you.

  • The egoic greed that is destroying the planet for momentary gratification is the same greed that wants to save it for a long term one. This is where the difference between the captain of industry and the environmental activist ends.

  • @Arashau Both are the same paranoia in my opinion...:P

  • you are the present time messenger Mooji. thank you for your wisdom and patience.

  • There are not words that can express how precious the gift Mooji is pointing towards is. I would not take all the gold in the world for it. Thank you Mooji.

  • Chop, chop.

  • Beautiful

  • Infinite gratitude and love to Mooji for shining the light of Truth on our collective confusion-delusion. There is a feeling that the momentum of the transformation of consciousness has taken a huge surge and nothing can stop it. Thank you to the Satsang family for posting these auspicious dialogues. Namaste

  • Awakening is happening.

  • my tears are filled with gratitude, thank you for this moment.

  • he is the master

  • @DieTheDeath I think it's wrong to put anyone on that kind of pedestal, personally. I'm sure that Mooji genuinely is a great man, yes; but I've found that idolising other people too much, tends to have negative consequences for my own development. By saying that he is so much more, you are really saying that you are so much less.

  • @petrus4 i did not say he is more. i said he is the master, which one can tell by observing. he is pure light. yes idolizing has negative consequences. first accept (idolize), then reject, THEN receive (truth). why should i go through all that?

  • the reason we or most of us are destroying the planet is because we operate with money. money is based on consumption. if we eliminated money & used the technology and resources to provide the needs for every one (which we can do many times over cleanly and and efficiently this world will not know war, poverty, and politics. combine this with a different value system and god will truly manifest on this planet. and thats all folks, check out: "the venus project" peace and cheers

  • Listening with an open heart, only compassion is heard from this guru who consistently points to peace in the midst of perceived terror. Thank you.

  • she is arrogant and doesn't even realize it. am i wrong? lol

  • @DieTheDeath indeed, clearly speaking from her human ego and not from her soul. This is why she is shaking so much.

  • @DieTheDeath She is not more arrogant, opinionated or pushy than almost everyone else. She is approaching Mooji from the place most of us start from. The tenets underpinning Advaita Vedanta or the "I Am Principle" are barely understood even by people interested in Buddhism, or Yoga or Satsang

  • Cliche's are a trap, when we believe them.

  • I dont think Mooji put this up here to mock this woman I think he put it up here because we've all had moments of this type of thinking and it is quite a common problem.

  • @Silvertrine so true

  • This may be the most important video on youtube... but I say that about all of Mooji's videos... yet, ...

Thank you so much for sharing this.

    Namaste

  • @1emptiness I completely agree with you. All of Mooji'd videos are gems full of insights, and yet, this one is absolutely outstanding.

  • @jigme800 Yes, a personal and collective gem; the sense of personhood rejoices that the sense of the collective is now being touched with Truth. It brings tears.

  • Beautiful satsang. Us older folks may have to strain a bit to hear, but well worth it. Wonderful dialogues. How fortunate for us all for this invitation to Mooji was extended and these auspicious dialogues happened. Awakening is happening. Om Shanti

  • 2600 years ago a man forgot himself and since then the world cannot forget him?

    whos that man?

  • "Your own self-realization is the greatest service you can render the world." ~ Sri Ramana Maharshi

  • I love her questions! Thank you for you honesty and intentions to help our great Mother, the one truly forgotten in all of this.... Thank you.

  • The power of Truth shines through yet again. Thank you Mooji :)

  • There are plenty who moan and complain and rage at the world...these people are victims. There are very few like Mooji who are humble enough to abide in the Self...which is a higher reality beyond moaning and raging and ranting...GRACE. Ah, pure shining beauty! :) We must change ourselves first! :) xx

  • Her distress is just a projection of her own troubles. Mooji is spot on. She needs to focus on herself first. After awakening the world is actually beautiful.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrAshToast

Exactly, we look outside to find solutions and blame somebody, but seldom understand and can see what lies within us....and how it causes distress to both us and others.

  • @paromita87 Absolutely. We're all drowning in the sea of samsara at the end of the day! ;-)
