No, my parents met in college in the States, and came to Israel after they were married. They first came and were volunteers on a kibbutz, and they ended up living in Israel for 6 years.
How did they manage staying 6 years. You should be eligible for dual citizenship being born there. Maybe something to really check into before you come back. You have Ties there forever.
I don't really know how they stayed so long. I think the laws were not so strict then. I would be eligible for dual citizenship, if I was Jewish. But I do like having those ties!
I like the way you edit your video. I hate to hear your leaving home soon. How are you uploading videos, does the Yad Hashmona have internet connection or you using satellite or internet cafes.
I'm from the States. My dad met someone that had volunteered at Yad Hashmona. It doesn't cost anything, you just have to pay for your plane ticket. You can easily find their website online.
where at in the States. I live in Georgia. So did everyone ask you that "Why are going to Israel Question". I wish I had a video camera the last time I went. What you are doing with your videos is so awesome. Heck YouTube didn't exist in 03.
You going to continue posting after you get back. Can you do me a HUGH favorite. I'm gathering video clips for a new video I'm making about Israel. Can you video some Mountains and the Valleys maybe about 5-10 second clips and if at all possible anything at Masada. That's the key mountain in the video.
Next week huh. I bet time flew by and your saying "I can't believe it's time to go". Are you on Myspace too? I checked out there website. What got you hooked to go there?
That was my problem too. Can you speak, read and write Hebrew. I took classes for over a year once a week. I got the basics down. It's hard to stay with it when you can't speak and hear it everyday. The woman teaching me is from Rishon Lezion, she lives in Ga now.

Are you ever planning on making aliyah? or can you have dual citizenship in Israel and the US. I think you can.
blkbishop112 4 years ago
I probably would be thinking about making aliyah, but I'm not Jewish, so I can't.
