Don't stop reading, Or you die. there was a woman burned at the stake and her dying words cursed those who had punished her, and anyone who hurt her 7 year old daughter. her daughter was also burned at the stake, two nights later, all of those who had convicted her and her child had been burned to ash, without the sheets or anything surrounding them being harmed. if you do not repost to six video's, you will see her one night and then burn alive.
After that Mercury rant, any time Stephen Colbert wants to appear on QI, I'm sure he'd be most welcome. The audience wouldn't know who he is, but he'd quickly bowl them over.
@PurushaDesa They're really not familiar with Colbert in the UK? I have no frame of reference on it, but that's slightly surprising. Do they know Daily Show/Stewart much?
TDS is already a fairly niche audience in the UK, being on a sister channel of Channel 4 called More 4, where Jon Stewart is by no means a mainstream celebrity, outside fans of the show. It then follows that the Colbert spin off is even less familiar, as it's only on subscription services like Sky or Virgin.
In short, you really have to care about American political satire in the UK to know Jon or Stephen. Then again we're a bit more aware of the US than the US is aware of us! XD
Well, that guy was rude, I understand he wanted to complement Stephen but there's a stage of about three official and well-recognized comedians, he could have toned down the superlatives a bit...
This was years ago, back when Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell were correspondents. Judging the younger look of Stewart, it seems like it was around 2002.
My favorite part about the Mercury riff is about two thirds of the way through when it becomes clear that he's just gonna keep going and Carrell mutters "Oh my God" under his breath.
I wonder if he ever went solo :D

I LOVE Steve's reaction as Colbert just keeps taking his rant one step further.

So adorable!
Colbert is so FAST and incredibly smart. He's an amazing improviser. It makes me dizzy just watching him.
