@lespaulguy32 Don't know for sure, but that may be one of the old ATSF high-level cars. They are slightly shorter than the superliner cars. The PPC on the CS for example.
@mrfss: u r correct! That particular car was a step-down coach converted into a coach/dorm car. One end is at the lower level of the car & the other end is at the height of the superliner doors. The superliner cars were patterned after the hi-level cars & the superliner 2 transition dorms were built to replace the hi-level coach/dorm cars.
Major historical footage right here!!!!! Almost everything is in Phase III paint and all the express boxcars!!! Those Amtrak boxcars do not exist any more.
Definetley Amtrak at it's best!

Just to let you know the lead engine is 840. P40s only went from 800-843, although I wish there was an 850.
