I bought some of these by accident, thinking they were something else ... they are very prolific and don't grow tall, nice compact plants that do well with less than optimum sunlight. They taste OK when ripe.
I got a pepper growing on my super chilli plant now. It looks nothing like one. And all the flowers are still growing down . My one pepper is the length of a super chilli but wide and flat. Its weird.
oooooooooooooo cooool, thats the 3rd hybrid, #1 is short Fat sort of like a strawberry,#2 down and looks like a cayenne,, yea i prob sent a pack of the cross's (superchilli)
how many plants growing ? of it.. and i take flower pics and then as its changing colour and then when finished .. ill email ya the pics of the other 2 i have, so can see if like them..
I didn't get super chilli seeds from you, this plant I bought at a local plant place. I got Naga morich seeds,Red Savina's and chocolate habs from you. Will this hybrid be hotter or less hot them the regular super chilli?

yea ,, any size pot, the smaller the pot, the smaller the plant, but it will still produce fruit. plus these are fairly small plants anyway and i have heaps of them in 6 inch..
very productive and long season, and my favorite to have on Anything..my family can't handle heat, so i just chop 2, put on whatever im having, ive crossed it with a Salsa chilli and got a bizzare looking Super Salsa chilli.just waiting on it to finish growing, then try the seeds, see if same..

I use 6 to 9 of those when I make my own hot sauce. Very very good flavour with those.

I planted a super chili plant in a 6 inch pot. Should it be okay? I've seen them in small pots before.

Is this the same as a Thai chili?
guitarz12 3 years ago
Thai Chillis, (Prik ki nu) in Thai refers to any of three cultivars of chili pepper. This is closest to the Asian Birdeye, but a Bit hotter
