  • How does the AN1x compare to the CS1x? I can get both for pretty much the same price, but I'm still a bit split down the middle between them.

  • @Stoney3K hi Stoney, they have different synth engines. The AN1x is virtual physical modelling for that virtual analogue sound. The CS1x (from what a gather) is AWM2. It depends what you want from your synth. If you after a good convincing analogue sounding synth, for nice fat pads, lead lines and basses, then go for the AN1x. Be warned, its not a "workstation" synth. Its only 10note polyphonic and 2 note multi-timbral. Hope that helps.

  • Hey Jock still never tire of watching this :0) Thanks for the info on the choir & string sounds you used on the 1080 & 5080 will try find the sessions & vintage synth cards see if i can get it sounding as good as yours prob not lol

  • This is so beautiful. I can hear the sound of the wind. It makes me think of my grandad flying around the Taj Mahal in a spitfire when he was stationed in India during the war.

  • Good Job? No

    Great? No

    This is Just Amazing!

It was like something felt from inside!

  • Brilliant.

By the way, please, I've been ofered a Yamaha V50 and a SY55 for 140€ each, wich one should I pick? I'm a newbie and I know they are very different machines but I've heard interesting dark sounds produced by a SY55 on a web and almost nothing on the net by the V50, but knowing it is a TX81Z FM synth with a couple of extras, it sounds interesting...

  • sweet soundscape. love the look of that synthex!!!

  • 3:28 LMFAO by watching the right hand with that ''wind sound'' lol :)

  • @crunk4124 LOL I've only just noticed that !! purely unintentional, honest !!

  • @oxygene65 Yeah I know it's just funny =)

  • stacks o'synths, video camera taped to the head, awesome drones 'n' pads 'n' washes. you, sir, are a Synth Hero. :-o

  • Congrats. Great soundscape you created. Bravo sir!

  • suberb my fellow synth lover \o/ !

  • Bravo!!!

  • synthex rules

  • I like ths music a lot, at 3;30 sounds like Tingri from John Serrie or Planetary Chronicles or Encounter, but I cannot remember the name of the other artist. There is a lot of Tangerine Dream in there too. great track, I would like to hear more please, great job mate. Cheers from Yankeeland

    D...................:-)

  • what do u like and not like about An1x?

  • I like that its got more keys than a JP8000 with more polyphony. I like the noise it makes. The quality of the keyboard is very good.

I dont like its control matrix. I find it slow and too complex to use especially in a live situation. The pitchbend and ribbon controller is not as very smooth. The sound tends to change in steps. Its not as warm or as fluid as a JP8000.

Its still fantastic synth though !

  • Amazing! Couldn't help but lol at the 'doom' style view, is the camera attached to your head or something?

  • LOL, yeah, taped to my head with gaffer tape. Took a bit of time cutting it all out of my hair too !! doooh !

  • Great tune. 5***** performance. Nice studio rig setup also.

  • Just awesome work!

What an excellent use of synthesizers. Keep up the great work.

    beautiful and inspiring music.

  • Very, very, very good. Amazing live play! Like a film score for space traveling.

  • very,VERY good! 5*

    ty for sharing this

  • Great work.

  • Yesh! Yesh! Y'all an Elka Synthex!!

Nice ambiant jam! Keep up the great work!

In my own opinion it sounds quiet Tangerine Dream-ish.

If you get the time check out my studio video

    under Stage Blu Productions.

    Peace!

  • Jesus man, put some of this stuff on iTunes so I can buy it!

  • beautyful!!!!!!!!!

  • hi can i buy your synthex 647 869 3033

  • lol I have the sy55 too! But I'd rather have an sy99

  • Out of all the synthesizers you have, I 'd take the Synthex.

  • Awsome...AN1x is the greatest. Really like the use of all of the synths!

  • Man, this is a strong machine!!
