I thought that was funny, because that's really the only time a robot shows complete literacy in a language... if she can talk so fluently like that, I wonder why she doesn't do it again?

Then again, one of the directors said that both of them "speak different robot languages," but apparently they share a few other "human" words. ;]

actually this is not the first time eve talks like this, ive noticed several times in the movie when she is confirming something or trying to get attention she makes this beep sound, its hard to describe she makes the sound in the clip wall-e rouge robots and in desperate eve, the clip

ah... that's a classic gag. :D you all know those cartoons when (usually) a man sees a woman and there is this perfect aura of light and she's sooooooo beautiful, but it turns out she's trying to get him to either listen to her, or get out of her way! lol Wall-e's like "Ahh... such beauty" all the while EVE is probably saying,

"I don't know how the heck you got on here but you're going to get me in BIG trouble! I don't want you to get involved. GO-4 might--" that's when they call her over :D lol

I absolulty love the part where we see Eve from Wall-e's eyes and it's all hazy. Just goes to show that even a robot can get drunk, drunk with "love" that is. But you're right Movienutt91, that is a classic gag there and it just fits Wall-e perfectly.

Eve is not really speaking like WALL-E is hearing, it's just WALL-E is not paying attention so it basically sounds like the Teacher in Peanuts (Charlie Brown reference btw).
