This is my favorite video to listen to the Book of love on. I don't care if the pictures are cheezy (I don't think so) or if the sound quality isn't the absolute best, I love this video more than any other.

The Book Of Love - Peter Gabriel's version is still the best one by far. On my channel you can find a rather different version (up tempo) by a German rock group from Berlin, Germany.
I beg to disagree...It may have a cynical tone, but it is nothing less than a marvelous love song. YOU listen to the words. Though they (the typical things people say,write,sing)may be stale, when this person you love recites,reads or sings them to you, it is magic. There is an old saying that some singers can sing the phone book and make it sound amazing. The love spoken of in this song has the same strength.Never saw the show,but LOVE the song!!~smiles~

I have gotten much more sentimental, appreciative and thankful that I have someone to grow old with. PG took the original sentiment of the song and turned them on their head. Precisely the definition of "making a song your own". I am a big, hairy guy who has to shave 2x a day and this interpretation of this song puts me on the floor every time.
@ritter89 Audrey is correct. This song is meant to be interpreted differently by people. Of course, your interpretation does show a bit of who you are. You don't have much faith in love, do you? The lyrics can be mocking depending on how it's sung and how it's interpreted. Peter Gabriel's, which we're using right now, is meant to be more playful and endearing.

@alitllebitemo Yeah I think when ABC tried revive Scrubs (again) with the new setting the ratings were so poor they just sorta yanked it off the air with out another finally so they never really had an ending for the newer version which honestly I'm sort of glad about that

HI! I just wanted to say that I don't understand why people feel the need to post crap comments on this video. I really like it! :) This song is one of my alltime favourites, and I think that you tried to express your emotions while making this video. I like it! :D You used some great pictures too. Just let them talk.

hey, just because you're a selfish moron that doesn't actually feel any emotions, doesn't mean you have to be cruel to others. Or were you abused/unloved by your parents when you were a kid, and you're taking it out on others? All was soo good. And yesterday i lost my girlfriend :-( Sie was a wonderful and pretty girl. But now it´s finished. I hate my wife because she cheats me. I wait on the Girl that love me :-) Sry i´m not so cgood in english because i´m from germany. I love this song :-)

Listen to this song and this is what came out.
For a moment he could feel her lying next to him again. He could feel the way her hair tickled his skin when she laid on his arm. It felt like they were together again. He stroked her hair like he use to and moves his hand up and down her arm gently. For him it brought back memories of their time on the couch together and he always did this to relax her.

I love this song because it's so beautiful, but I hate it because it makes me hurt so much. I miss someone so much, but it's strange because I've never met her.
