  • They have them out for you so you can put them in a bag fast for the zombie Apocalypse.

  • Can I have some prices on anything and everything please?

  • @Avatar230594 Gas costs about 3.50, a pack of gum goes for about 80 cents to a dollar, video games typically go for 60 or 50 dollars, etc.

  • @maxter480 Nice but the arrows themselves would be good. Also, what if I just want a bar of chocolate and not gum?

  • if i can shooting a 50-60 lb redzone bow using it for hunting what would the best fletching and arrows that i could use thanks

  • But can you split an aluminum arrow with a carbon arrow?

  • @ChaseP11000 back when i was shooting alluminum arrows on a 20 limb, i hit a few robin hoods with alluminum arrows and they glanced off of each other. i immagin with a 50 or 60 lb draw and a broad head you could do it. but my guess is a field point will just push back into the carbon arrow and it will incase the alluminum arrow.

  • @jlcyamaha ha yesterday i was shooting with some old wooden arrows I found, ran out and got the arrows that I bought for raccoon hunting and actually split the arrow! hilarious.

  • @ChaseP11000 got more new broadheads: carbon express triels

  • (insert joke here)........then i took an arrow to the knee

  • That was heaps of help not

  • @bountyuhunter738 A vane is not needed when bow fishing. There are arrows made specifically for bow fishing. These arrows consist only of a shaft with a string that attaches to a reel/spool on the bow. They do not need vanes as the arrow is only traveling a few feet. Happy shooting!

  • what fletch or vane would you recomend for bow fishing

  • An to think as a kid I made them out of carefully picked sticks and feathers

  • LOL at 0:45 seconds. "If you get one too stiff... its uhh... too may not fly right?"

  • @TheAfricanSoul that was exactly the sentence at which i stopped listening... just writing this comment, give a thumbs-down on the video and ffwd to the next one... xD

  • So what I learned from this video is that I should go to my local pro shop to find out what arrows I need, because this guy has no idea!

  • The look on his face at :05 instantly tells you this guy is a fucking idiot that doesn't understand what the phrase, "How to choose" means. I hope you're just a retarded customer at a pro shop and nobody is dumb enough to hand money over to you.

  • Stuff the Pro Shop, your title says ''How to Choose Archery Arrows, I don't want to go to pro shops I just want to shoot in the yard for fun, so how do you to Choose Archery Arrows?

  • how to choose arrows = ask the shop

    how pointless was this!

  • plastic ... feather... ha real men use DUCTAPE

  • well that was a waste... i learned this when i was 6

  • Don't forget about Archery Tag™ tips. Learn more at our channel!

  • Hello,

i was just wondering what arrows I should be shooting. I have a 60lb bow but it is only set at around 50lbs. I will be hunting feral animlas such as pigs and rabbits. I also use a 4 inch vane. I also wont the arrow to be aluminium.

  • @scottishkiwi23 Well it's a lot more safe to get expert advice from someone who deals with the products regularly than you just buying whatever. Usually shops won't sell arrows unless you show them the bow, so that's why Mr. Man in the videos recommends going to them.

  • this was not an arrow video it was a flight video,as thats the best bit of info i got from it

  • this was not an arrow video it was a flight video,as thats the best bit of info i got from it

  • Actually there are just couple pro shops in whole europe... Don't like too much the "local" as cool as it does sound.

  • Worthless video

  • what arrows could anyone shoot the best with a 45lb competition target bow?

  • This is a one-taker huh?

  • Most of the 'pros' I've talked to at my 'local pro shop' didn't have a clue what they were doing. I'm so sick of hearing this phrase.

  • @Xxcalicondor lmfao

  • hey Joe What aBout F.O.B.'s?

  • choose AND select? good deal!

  • Thanks Joe, Semper FI.

  • Go to a pro shop... really? thats all the useful info he has. It doesnt tell you at all what to look for on your own

  • yea...I didn't learn anything about the topic I didn't already know... call a pro shop... really? wow that isn't helpful

  • i thought they gonna teach us how to choose our arrow...

  • wood arrows are better than these cheap plastic ones

  • @Armyboypyro yeah but only if you're shooting a traditional bow, you can shoot a cedar shaft with a 70 pound compound bow if you want to see how much you can bleed.

  • Uh..duh..uh..no worder you chose the marines...u cannot form a sentance.

  • Its a good thing you have literate people working for you..

  • "...has went to..." ? More grammatical study, less hunting, sir.

  • do not go into this guys shop...ever. He treats everyone like they are stupid..

  • This guy only wants to soak you in the pro shop..and does not tell you much of anything does he. How many times can you say...UHH...AHH in one sentace.?

  • How to choose your arrow: "Call pro shop" WTF?

  • I have a darton 30mx compound bow, think its from the 80's i dont know much about bow's is it a good one? is it worth keeping? what is it worth?

  • I have a compound bow that's adjustable between 60 and 80lb, it shoots 310fps IBO. I need to find an arrow that will handle an 80lb bow with that much power. I need about a 400gr total weight and intend to use 125gr grim reaper broadheads. (I've always head better luck with the 125gr 1-5/8" cut grimreaper broadhead) it has to be a 30" arrow and needs to be built to last.

  • @drewnickel I have a darton 30mx compound bow, think its from the 80's i dont know much about bow's is it a good one? is it worth keeping? what is it worth?

  • @SoccerDJRob it's a 60lb bow, probably shooting at 280fps or more, it's definitely worth keeping, if you want to, if not you could probably make $90-150 on ebay. I'd rather keep it. it's a fairly accurate bow, and like you said, made in the 1980's, it was actually one of the first high powered compound bows, as they had just been invented in the mid 1960's with a 40lb draw prototype made by Holless Wilbur Allen in 1966.

  • @drewnickel thanks, i have to figure out how to set to me the draw is set up more then my shoulder length feels comfterble; like it is set for someone taller then my self, i feel like such a nerd with bows with guns im a pro haha........thanks for the help

  • what I see is lots and lots of arrows lol j/k

  • Ra Tard

  • Haters will hate.

  • This video is stupid offers no information on how to figure it out just to call a pro shop thanks for nothing crappy video

  • Now kids, these aren't the arrows that we draw on paper, we're shooting ARCHERY arrows here.

  • i feel like im watch a bass pro shop commercial. some querish supposide marine presenting the video like hes a retard................. awesome

  • So, to choose the right arrow I need to ask my local shop. Thanks for the helpful advise.

  • what id do for all those arrows...

  • @skunkapotamus trolling?and they only got me once and it wont happen again!!

  • @MrPoonasty You should take up bowling.

  • @skunkapotamus lol, any way have a good life, be a dumb ass!how do you not

get what im saying!when you treat people good and dont take thier money they will come back!

  • @skunkapotamus lol is that a joke??you resent a person that wants to

be treated with a little respect and to get a little customer service??i did start bowhunting this year and ill bet ill spank your ass with my knowledge and skill with my bowtech!

  • @MrPoonasty Let me tell you something. If you want to call gander mountain, and talk to their "knowledgeable service staff" or someone local, that knows what the fuck thery are talking about then be my guest. Call gander mountain and ask them where to hunt, or why your bow shoots like a shotgun. Go ahead and hand that puppy to them right thru the phone. See, its asshole customers like you that makes life difficult for serious bowhunters. Take your 60 bucks and eat a bowl of dicks, I dont need it

  • shaft and spine babby shaft and spine

  • @racerfreak8 lolol

  • how do i kno what pro shop to go to? do i jus go to another pro shop to find out?

  • would the arrow in between the 4 inch and target arrow is tht gud 4 hunting or only targets?

  • Gees thanks Mister ...did not give me any info on choosing a arrow ...Just told me go to a pro shop ????

  • I thought he was guna say "If its too weak it may be unsafe to use, if its too stiff, it may be too safe to shoot"

  • I dont recomment going to a pro shop unless you are sure of what you want, when you get their. because if u r not sure then u will i swear end up spending a lot of money on crap you dont need. mostly all pro shops are just like the pros u c hunting on tv. they are sponsered by the brands they sell. weather it matthew, hoyt, pse. they will push their sponsered product down your throte. and because its an pro shop most people will take their word for it that u need what they are selling.

  • @bigmusic39 True, been there and got ripped off, they see the noobs comming.

  • @bigmusic39 yep small archery shop>cabela's

  • Videos from those channles can be ok videos for someone brand NEW to the topic but not good for anyone els.

  • how useless.. If i had a local pro shop i wouldnt be watching this video, would i?..

  • There is not "thousands of types of arrows". If anyone can name 300 different types of arrows il give you 2000 dollars.

  • which one is best to use for a homemade wooden bow

  • Drive an hour and a half to my local proshop...why didn't I think of that? So simple!

  • At least it isn't like expertvillages videos on archery. Those were stupid and an extreme waiste of time!!!

  • you forgot to mention most traditional bows have to be shot with arrows with feathers instead of plastic

  • that was actually helpful

  • Well i think the reason why he says to go to a Pro Shop is because there are so many arrow types, Vane types, and Bow types that there is no way to put all of the variables together into 1 vid with all the possible answers. Know what i mean? I could be wrong but....

  • so..... how do I know what arrow is right for my bow......, can you explain that.?

  • @caibarien71 It depends on weight of the arrow and broadhead /fieldtip the draw length and the weight of the pull as well as the intended purpose of the arrow. Start with the draw length, from there go to the pounds of pull the bow is set up for. After that has been determined go for the intended purpose of the arrow then determine the weight of the shaft and the tip. It is a fairly easy formula to follow. A little research is all it takes. A heavier shaft tip combo is better than one too light.

  • Did amyone actually get anything from that other than "go to a pro shop?" Just because you can get on camera, don't mean you should. If you dont know what your talking about...sit down and be quite.

  • 20 seconds in "has WENT to carbon arrows"...... nice

  • acadamy sports

  • where is that store?

  • its archery world in vancouver, wa

  • eHow is a million times better than expertvillage...and to those of you who watch expertvillage and believe what they say and like their videos: eHow blargh 1,000,000 gurph glug mook expertvillage.

  • @DumFrickProductions And I'm so sure that you dont work for eHow...

  • hi im more of a traditional archer im getting a 60# hickory bow wat arrows would be good for it i will manly use it for target shooting

  • then practice arrows. id do liek this guy said and call a store near you

  • ive got a recurve bow and im ondering what ype of arrows work best for it, i heard that feathered arrows r the best is that true?

  • depends on wht poundage your bow is how long the draw is ... ect...just go to a cabelas or bass pro they give you wht your lookin for.

  • i've been shooting a recurve for 10 years and i've found that shooting feathered arrows with a helix is the best stablizes the arrow better than vaines

  • thanks!

  • more forgiving, best for recurve shooters

  • 5570 I use 100 grain field tips and broadheads

  • I really like gold tip; they're pretty good and depending on what model you get will also add fps to your bow

  • if i just bought a new martin cheetah 45-60# bow, what kind of arrows should i get for it? i know i want carbon, but what size, weight, and stuff like that? my bow in set at 60#

  • I use handmade river cane arrows much lighter aluminum and just as fast as carbon only down side you gotta make em,straighten with heat, and get materials together so i may pick up some carbons at bass pro.takes me about an hour or so to make a good quality river bamboo arrow

  • yah there good

  • Is easten carbon arrows any good because I had them and I really liked them.

  • gold tip hunter series are amazing. fly staright out of a 70lb bow and then my bros 45lb bow.

  • I just got my new bow today, I also got Easton carbon arrows. They fly fast, and are durable. If your buying arrows for the first time, go with carbon, they are much less likely to bend than aluminum. Aluminum arrows bend much more easily and once they bend, your accuracy will be much worse than before.

  • blazers are very nice for all bows

  • i love the blazer vanes they shoot amazing

  • wen i go 3D hunting (shooting live size fake 3D animals) i use fiberglass arrows,

are they ok for doin this kind of thing?

  • so bascially u dont know so go to a pro shop.....

  • never used arrows with feather fletching.does anybody recommends them for target shooting?

  • my buddy shoots them it slows the arrow down

he has a mathews reezen 7.0 shooting epic 340 and the fps reading he got was 288

  • Yeah but when the say it shoots 335 that is with 5 gr per inch arrows. With extremly light tips in. And thats not realistic for hunting.

  • pse stinger is amazin

  • I used 2 inch duravanes with 125grain montec broadheads and I was getting 2inch groups at 40+yards

  • You did not mention the length, are they all the same length? I want some for practice and a few nice ones for hunting. God video and good information but still need more.

  • length depends of the bow u are using, when u buy an arrow the length depends of how u adjust your bows draw length and almost every arrow come in the same size when they get to your store, but if you ask for a shorter one employees will cut it to your bows draw length =)

  • very helpful, thanks

  • what did the guy holding the camera have to pee?he is jumping about...lol

  • Hmm...how about wooden arrows? The traditional way?

  • Wooden arrows are heavier than carbon arrows. And you have the risk that they aren't always straight. And a wooden point wil break or bend off after some shots.
