  • good cover, but i think the one by Wovenhand is better.

  • love this version, althought i think 16 horsepower version is the best

  • @intersanctum actually it's Woven Hand not 16 hp my bad

  • great bassline, beautiful voice, a winner indeed!

  • wow jus wow...who is she

  • im in love ;)

  • Jee, that voice!!!

  • these Billotte girls rock - Mira you are awesome

  • Fantastic cover!

  • I think Bob Dylan wrote the song. Also heard Tribe after tribe do it. I prefer their spin on it. The original reminds me of old irish folk tunes like whiskey in the Jar.:)

  • szupi

  • Amazing song. Last heard Robbie Rob Sing it in Johannesburg South Africa. Band was called Tribe after Tribe. This girl can sure sing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where did she learn to sing? She has got some serious pipes. Amazing voice, great cover. :)

  • Who is this chic? I'm sorry, but no youtube videos = no street cred. Why does she get to sing this song on the soundrack? She sounds like an awesome talent that needs better management or a one-(cover)-hit wonder.

  • she was in autoclave and slant 6

  • no, that was her sister.

  • Mira was in Quix*o*tic with her sister Christina, along with Crom-Tech's Mick Barr for a time..

Christina Billotte was part of some seriously brilliant groups in and around the DC-Olympia post-punk/hc and riot grrl scenes in the 1990s.

    Sadly, pre-youtube so somewhat obscure.

Both Billotte sisters have similar timbres and phrasing in their singing. Worth seeking out.

  • @projectno5 No - that was her sister. She was in Quixotic and White Majic. This is possibly the best thing on this soundtrack- and her coming out of "nowhere" to stand out amongst some more well known names!

    I have always liked her.

  • She's great in spite of that. That's what makes it for me

  • Thanks for posting this. Firt heard Robbie Rob from Tribe after Tribe do it in Africa

  • She have a great voice....

as I went one morning. cross Bob into my life...after this day....... I never be the same !!!

  • well done, really nice...thanks for posting .

  • a great cover of one of my favorites songs.

  • great voice:b

  • the bassline gets me :)

great cover, love those dry drums and minimalist instrumentation (like on the original ^^)

  • This is a beautiful cover.
