what a bunch of boners, it's a Honda 750, that makes it bad ass no matter what, that's why there were 100s of thousands that were built and still around. nice bike dude.
sweet bike....nice, very nice, maybe dude will get ya up to speed on the whole ass wipin thing....@%^& the idiots build your bikes exactly as you want , theres a clue in the words YOUR BIKE! gey great music too, thx
any thing goes with these tho, when we built em in the 60s we couldnt afford proper rearsets, but if you turned up to the cafe with some chequerd tape, an ace sticker on yer bike and a set of drop bars, you had yourself a cafe racer!!!! great bike in the true spirit of the 60s 70s.
Hi, Nice bike, Steve is a nice guy I have called him a few times for advice and bought a few parts from him for one of my cafe builds. he builds really nice stuff. Im curious how much did you pay for that bike? Send me a private message if you like.
first off. thats a beautiful work of art carpy has put together for you. second off, pay no mind to the Idiots who think they know what a cafe racer should be.... if there is one thing i've learned in life, its that Motorcycle elitists are just as annoying as non-riders. Does that make me a form of "motorcycle elitist" myself?!..... Ehh, who cares? :D

in a good way, but fuck you maaaan for having this bike.. just a cafe! The green color wich wanna burst out of the black, this bike is really awesome!
looks very nice except the footrests are in the wrong place (too far forward) but you north americans have a strange idea about cafe racers and it's under braked better with twin discs implies tha carpy's bikes are more about show than go it's all about shiny bits not about improvments in handling and performance the clue is in the title cafeRACER
@wiveybloke Wow, thanks for sharing, you being the authority of what "customized" bike should be. How foolish and naive to not have asked the "Authority" what he thinks and if what I find appealing matches your definition of cafe racer. My bike can easily do 100 mph but maybe I'll put a governor on it, so then I can strip it down then put rear sets on so I can get all aerodynamic. If you want to give me feed back on any other topic you have mastered such as how to wipe my ass, please share.
@wiveybloke \if you wanted real performance you would buy a GSX R750 or a S1000RR or a 848 or something that was not more than 30 plus years old initially. That argument holds no water at all.
Also unless you are placeing a Hayabusa engine into a superior Ducati, MV or Triumph frame your not an actual Cafe Racer builder either! Your a classic motocycle enthauaist!
Your not any more authentic than onyone else riding a any bike like the one in this video
That bike is awesome! may I ask what one like that would cost. If you do not want to disclose publicly please send me a message. I really had considered buying a new bike but may hold out for one similar if it is in my price range. Thanks in advance.
That is a nice bike that Carpy built for you. But honest to god, do you have to plaster it with graphics that say "750" and "cafe" or the spade image? That's cheesy and too much unnecessary embellishment. If people aren't smart enough to know what kind of bike it is, forget them. Where' the grease? Real cages are ridden and leak out. By nature cafes should be a little rough around the edges. Next time make your own bike. You bought a shiney rebuild. Its a commodity or worse yet an accessory to
Really? To be honest you are entitled to your opinion and views but you are wrong. I ride and maintain my bike every year and sorry if the head gaskets are not leaking yet but as soon as they do I'll let you know.
@dxlbabyfresh There is nothing I hate more than people who say u should build ur own stuff. No one would scoff at somone who commisioned Picasso to do a painting but when it comes to customizing cars or bikes everyone is a snob.
If people didn't commision artisans like Carpy to do bikes then there would be no customized bike industry! Personally I would rather own a piece of art than wait 3 yrs for me to finish a bike that will never be as epic.
@dxlbabyfresh "Plastered with graphics" get ya eyes chqed mate, the bike looks great, Carpy knows what hes doing, unless you beg to differ. Lets see your bike man.
Hey that's a wicked bike. I'm in the midst of building a cafe racer from a 77 kz1000. I was just wondering if you had any troubles bringing the bike over the border. I live in Manitoba and i am really interested in buying one of his bikes.
I bought it from a guy who had already brought it up. There does seem to be a lot of "leg" work needed to import a vehicle, but you can hire a broker to do it for you. I can't say enough good things about this bike, I love it and have never gone a day riding with out people asking me about it. I have emailed him about some maintenance ect. and he is very helpful.
absolutely gorgeous ride! advice from an old guy. flip front end around so you have trailing disks. and slip tubes up into front fort 1/2-1 inch or so. Amazing the difference it makes.
@showmaker Thanks! I'd have to take a tape measure to know for sure. But I am 5' 9" and I cant quite sit flat footed. It's maybe 3-4 inches lower than a stock seat
That thing is SICK. I just bought a mint 73 750, Im ordering the seat and tank from BCR in New Jersey, i just hope I can make it look half as good on my own as Carpy did on yours!
The set I had on before were seized so they are great by comparison. They were sent with the wrong sized bushings and required a bit of work to get them to fit.
Beautiful bike!!! You must be very happy.

Great bike, seems silly some of the totally stupid comments some folks submit like they're the world authority on the subject.
Custom bikes are just that "custom" tailored to suit the tastes of the individual that owns them.
Great job, I love it!
