John Locke was not an American. He was an Englishman and a pioneer of Social Contract Theory, which is a liberal concept. Though you talk like a conservative. You're not quoting one.

John Locke was not quoted in the Constitution but his ideals were cited in the Declaration of Independence.

Obama did not "take" GM. They asked for a bailout.

That's not in the Constitution. The Second Amendment refers to the right for citizenry to keep arms to maintain a state militia. The forefathers feared the Federal Government maintaining a standing army. The forced housing of British Army soldiers in colonist's homes was a serious issue at the time, so serious that it was cited in the Declaration of Independence as a rationale for the revolution.

There is nothing Red about Obama. He's even following many of Bush's policies.

Benjamin Franklin even stated that when the government becomes out of control the citizens should discard their government. Not vote out of office but discard it. Of course now we no longer have the 2nd amendment and those that still own guns are too cowardly.

ALL comments made by the Founding Fathers to support armed revolution were designed to support The American Revolution. They never advocated counter-revolution.

Voting King George out of office was not an option. Armed revolution was the only solution to British oppression of the colonists.

The founders were worried about policies that would be similar to what Marx wanted. THAT is what I said. And Im not just talking political totalitarianism, theres economic totalitarianism. The taxes being sucked out of the colonists were going to King George and the British elite. It was colonialism, not communism, though both are bad.
