All entertainment devices will one day have cameras on them. That includes t.v. as t.v's will be used as big screen video calls. U can count on that. It's just a matter of time, so a camera on a ipod docking station isn't a real big suprise. The problem about hidden cameras on devices like these is that people may violate it's use and use it for the wrong type os surveilance.

Tech, don't be so sure about that. You don't know the programming on those chips, and you don't know the hardware used on the inside. You do realize wired networks can be setup to run through your houses power lines? So really all it would take after that is put the router at your neighborhoods hub, program the iPod doc to act as a client to that hub, and presto. You have yourself a wired camera system. I think you'd be surprised how many ways there are to do this.
