  • Bannon is such a bad live vocalist. It all just sounds like UHHHHHHHH live. in studio hes awesome though.

  • what a lame crowd! that build up and than ?!

i whould go berserk right there :D

  • how does he make his guitar sound so fucking brutal? I'm guessing the high pitch squeaky parts is some pitch shifter, or octave pedal, but how does he get that brutal distortion? its one I've never heard anyone else get, and I've shit my pants every time I've heard it since the first time i heard this album.

  • @mawkheaf See those Marshalls back there? Cranked. There's no sound like a tube amp at full boar. And he really smashes on those guitar strings, too. That does make a difference.

  • @mawkheaf I believe hes using a looper in conjunction with a pitch shifter set to fifth up or something similar.

  • best use of an octave effect ever

  • The build up to the climax in the beginning of this song has to be one of the most epic things Iv ever heard.

  • Ballou! You're my boy, Ballou!

  • Lol, the singer blew out the sound on who ever's camera. That's how awesome he is!

  • Was this in Athens? its looks almost exactly the same as the 40 watt club were i saw them and Mastodon

  • @meshuggahdeciple327 Same here. I was thinking the same thing. Who opened that show? Priestess?

  • @rollad2 Yeah Priestess was the opener

  • What effect(s) does Kurt use for this song? It sounds like something like a pitchshifter or octave pedal, maybe?
