It sounded like a subdued version with acoustic guitars. It was almost tango/flamenco-style. The video had a black background and red text. I agree with this completely. 8-bit musicians have a lot of great ideas, but the fact is that 8-bit machines alone sound kind of obnoxious. Change the bassline to a harder analog sound like from a Pro One and put in some better quality drumming, and it would have a lot more appeal.

The shnioda version is great, but it will never be better than the original, It is insome of my earliest memories as it was a year old wehn it came out in 1990.

I would recommends first off, checking out lsdj then, well, that's it. It's really the only gameboy production software I know of that is actually functional to me. You could always just make something like this in XM format with a good sample set. I hear nitrotracker for the DS is excellent, possibly checking out Skale tracker as well as a PC alternative.
