I knew a Dave Reagan in Corpus Christie, TX. You from Corpus?? The cutter is an Iscar 'Carbide Knuckle Rougher'. We're just using the power in the machine available without any banging or vibration. We're running about 4,000 RPM with WOC at .750" & .700" DOC. Our Hurco is strong & the cutter allows max transfer of energy. The little noise in the turn around is due to chips gathering. You must keep the chips moving out. Dave Stilley
I just have to know what brand of cutter that is. Also, the rpm and can you get decent tool life cutting that hard? Thanks.
