  • The considerable difference between the robin's speaking and singing voices is quite similar to those of Wheezy the penguin in Toy Story 2. Remember he goes from Joe Ranft to Robert Goulet. Here the robin goes from Kevin Clash to Richard Hunt.

  • I really love this video... "I have feathers, so do I, sombody I know?"

I laughed my ass off :D:D

And the song, lullabye of birdland, thats a fantastic jazz song :D But who doesn't love robin williams :D

  • lol I know the feathers part was hilarious!

  • LOL yeah that feathers line was hilarious, its so clever they snip little jokes like that in.

  • robins got a red breast Williams got a red vest lol

  • OMG, I remember this!!!!!

  • Come on... you can't believe that.

    Robin Willams Can't sing.

He sang perfectly for the Genie on Aladian. Then agian... it's funny how the way he was faking it.

  • The Singing robin sounds llike the other Robin

  • i agree! you picked up on that really well! i only noticed cause you said so - could definitely be him

  • probably is

  • Not other Robin, it's Kevin Clash... using his normal voice. The change is drastic and shocking. His vocal range is pretty good.

I thought it was really funny.

  • That voice change is one of the funniest things in the history of the world.

  • I think the bird is in love with Robin. Hence the song and the way it looked at him! LOL :D

  • early elmo voice???

  • 1:51

  • who did the robin say was a good singer? (@ 1:32)

  • A Nightingale??

  • nightengales

  • ...Somebody I know!!!! Bwajajaja... lol

    totally hilarious...

  • "just one song. come on baby pleasee!"

this was like the cutest thing :D

  • "Somebody I know?" Rofl!

  • nearly fell off the chair when he started singing!

  • GOOOOO ROBINS

  • What i like is how the robin changes it up when he sings...he's talks with a high-pitch but when he sings its not what you'd expect...its actually much deeper, lol. Look at RW's face when the bird starts to sing...lol.

  • hahaha! "somebody i know?"..."sorry

  • soo funny...

  • Oh my gosh, this is one of the earliest memories from my childhood! Thank you so much for posting this!

  • lol

  • if you listen to robin william's singing in aladdin compared to the robin in this they do sound quite similar.

  • im pretty sure that singing voice is robin williams himself

  • I think so, too!

  • robin williams knuckles very hairy, ha

  • is the bird kevin clash

  • "somebody i know"??..lmaoo...classic!!!

  • i LOVE this clip im so glad its here....i wonder whos really singing this

  • My guess is Kevin Clash. The robin bird sounds a lot like Elmo. Kevin Clash also plays Hoots the Owl and Clifford from the newer Muppet stuff, which is whom the robin's singing voice sounds like.

  • that was funny any one I know lol

  • robin williams is actually a fairly good singer.

  • I love when they throw in jokes that little kids probably won't get. This is a great sketch.

  • i love it how sesame street has humor that would go right over the kids heads but its there for the older watchers eg parents. like the feather duster one, anybody i know?

    classic lolol

  • PERFECT example of this is animaniacs. A lot of humour directed towards the older audience, it's crazy to watch

  • YAAAAY i LOVE this sketch

  • does anyone else find robin williams a little akward here?

  • it is Kevin Clash. i've seen sesame street bloopers and he DOES have a voice like that. cool huh

  • That's Howie Mandel doing the voice from Bobby's World there as the robin!!! XD!!

  • Sorry to disillusion you, but I think it's actually Kevin Clash, not Howie Mandel.

  • That robin Robin Williams is talking to is adorable! I love the part with the feather duster. "somebody I know?" LOL!

  • Robin Williams is simply hilarious. The birds singing voice is such a shock.

  • I have feathers ...

    So do I!

    Somebody I know???

  • This reminds me of Mrs. Doubtfire. Except Robin Williams isn't in drag and he's talking to a robin.

  • same kevin clash voice as elmon

  • wooooooow i havent seen this in yeeaars

  • Lol, just as funny as the banana one! Does anyone remember when jim carrey was on sesame street?

  • It looks like before this was the Animal Elevator song

  • Thanks man,I haven't seen this since 1998.

  • Did I just hear "I have a red breast" on a CHILDREN'S SHOW?

  • That didn't bother me. What got me was that it looks like he's flipping you off in 1:46-48.

  • He's snapping his fingers! I would hope they woudn't show anybody getting flipped off on SS. Get yor mind out of the gutter and enjoy life, please!

  • such a good sketch

  • Robin the bird sounds alot like Elmo!!!!

  • Yep. That's Kevin Clash for ya!

  • It was so funny when the robin sang in a deep voice like that!

  • Yeah, but he's cuter!

  • I mean Robin the bird is cuter than Elmo.

  • Robin Williams is one of my favorite actors since Mrs. Doubtfire.
