I recently purchased the same plant, and yours seems to be in good shap eso do you mind answering some questions?
1- Do I need to put water inside the trap?
2- How often and how much water do I give it?
3- When I look at my plant some areas, and the new shoots seem to be "burnt" is this because i'm not giving enough water? It's getting too much sun? please help!
One very important thing is this: make sure the water you use is either collected rainwater, or *distilled* water. Tap water, or bottled water, has too many minerals dissolved in it and will kill carnivorous plants.
i like these plants but i can never figure out if they are pretending to be orchids, or the sort of holes that corpses have. it looks like a mix of both.

1. No its not water they want its enzymes they have in teh trap. Don't water that, the hole point of that cap is to keep the water out.
2. These ae bog plants make sure they are sitting in water constantly
3. This could be dues to rotting, which happens frequently with these things. many reasons for that. so im not sure.
