while i may like some of the music thats out there today, i enjoy the older music. its real music and you actually had to know how to play and sing. not like the techno and rap that is out today
You don't sound old, you sound.."Correct" :) This is what my son listened to before being born, and now at age 16 he loves all the music I grew up to. He cannot even understand the draw of the music today. Only a few can measure up to what we had in the late 70's and early 80's
How can she tell the truth from the lies, how does she know when to close her eyes? She doesn't want to lose me because she only sees what she wants to see
No, Not Mickey Thomas......Mickey Mouse. This is his song about his breakup with Minnie( he was caught fooling around with Daisy Duck, that slut.......

the last of this great band and the end of beautiful music as rock, the ending of turning the radio on after this decade , it all ended about 91, just crap unless your in philly or nyc, where oldies rule even mtv started pushing rap with its drug herion overtones anything for the buck, but now the great american dollar is so dead.
No collection of rock music better embodies the great sound of the 1980's than "Nuclear Furniture." With the compelling voice of Grace Slick and the fantastic energy of Mickey Thomas, this could be Jefferson Starship's best album. The single "No Way Out" hit number one on MSR and is an all-time favorite of mine.

The last album as 'Jefferson Starship' but a good one!

Micky Thomas. Yet ANOTHER phenomenal frontman for a band from the 1980's. Perhaps we all need to put together an "Occupy 80's Music" movement???

Agreed . . . maybe I'm "too deep" but I really listen to lyrics . . . for most I think it's just the beat or the tune (the music) . . .

This song and "Layin' it on the line" were the last 2 songs Jefferson Starship did sing before turning into "STARSHIP"

This is the perfect keyboard song; that keyboard section, combined with Chaquico's guitar solo, makes this one of the best rock songs of the 80's.
