My two year old puggle Brandon doesn't do the head tilt thing anymore unless we tell him something new. I guess the same old words and stimuli do not generate head tilts from him anymore. But he is a VERY smart dog and can understand a lot of human words.

i hav a puggle shes tilts her head all the time. but i hav a question. its been over six months and she hasnt really changed in size. (dont worry shes healthy though) i hav a papicorg ( part papion and part welsh corgi) and shes smaller than him!

@JustinCiambra That's kinda the thing with cross-breeds if I'm not mistaken. They tend to vary in size from one dog to the next. We have a 6 month old Puggle an she's nearly as big as our beagle now. Does anyone here know about the smell? My Puggle has a distinctive odor that kinda smells like a basset hound. The "corn chip' smell. Does anyone else have that with their Puggle?

My puggle DOES THIS! He's not a bred dog, but a puggle "accident" we got from someone who couldn't care for him properly.

I'll be danged if you can't have a conversation with this dog: he tilts his head, understands basically what you're saying to him, and will "talk back" in an elaborate series of whines.

Heck, he's human with a permanent fur coat!

puggle is breed with strong hunting instincts for chasing mice and birds, they need lot running around, the are sniffing like crazy every trace of animal. They are very strong dogs, but not very big. They are very playful and friendly animals.
