screw attack's beef against ps3 is getting really fucking old. it's as if microsoft sends them a check in the mail every time they do it. It was funny to make fun of ps3 in summer 2007 when ps3 hardly had anything, I even thought sony would die out, but they're milking the joke too far now. Ps3 is proving to be a solid console. 1. blu-ray won over hddvd, 2. most games are multi platform, 3. lots of 360 exclusives are jumping to ps3, 4. ps3 has some pretty good exclusives of it's own.

And the 360 fanboys are apparent from the thumbs downs I'm getting without anyone giving me logical proof that ScrewAttack is right about PS3 sucking. It's as if whenever the PS3 grows and evolves to be a more solid console, ScrewAttack closes their eyes and sticks their fingers in their ears. 360 loses exclusives, PS3 exclusives stay exclusive.

How about YOU name of 10 good 360 exclusives? This one will be a lot harder since most of 360's exclusives are losing it's exclusivity to PC and/or PS3 ie. Gears of War, Bioshock, Overlord, Lost Planet. You'll end up resorting to naming off 1st generation 360 games like DOA4

Sorry, I take it back about naming off the 1st generation 360 titles, because DOA 4 is probably the only good one. Perfect Dark Zero sucked, and almost everything else that came out on 360 before the ps3 came out, either: sucked, was exclusive, or eventually lost it's exclusivity. So even though the 360 had a year head start on ps3, you'll still have a hard time naming off exclusives that came out within that first year.

good point about the 360 and it's exclusives, but the computer and the 360 are both from Microsoft. It's like nintendo releases Mario party 8 for the wii and later for the DS.

But if the game you want is on PC, then that gives you less of a reason to go out an buy a 360 for that game. Additionally, Linux is constantly being updated and improved. It wont be too long before a PS3 will be able to run PC games since PS3 can run off of Yellow Dog Linux.

I wasn't implying towards you, it's pretty much Craig I was talking about, especially since he's the face of ScrewAttack. Last Nov., when Craig and Tom did their Top 10 PS3 exclusives, ps3 was slowly starting to kick in at that time, but I still found that video hilarious. But now, according to wikipedia's list, PS3 has a bigger exclusive title line up then 360. PS3 having 87 exclusives, and 360 has 78 (this includes future titles). Craig just looks like a fanboy by still making fun of the ps3.

I've had arguments with Jose at the office about the PS3. Well, more like discussions. He thinks that the PS3 has a chance of going out of business, but I don't think that'll happen. Sony has to much money to throw at it, and theres like 3 BIG exclusives coming next year. I'm not a PS3 fanboy by any means, but I can see the consoles flaws and achievments.

Pretty much, I see the ps3 out selling the 360 eventually, I wouldn't doubt if it would be the end of 2009. First off, blu-ray is making developers jump boat. Games are getting bigger (Uncharted, MGS4) and developers want bluray. Also, Sony has a huge marketing campaign, I see more and more Sony ads then Microsoft. The consumers are gradually going ps3 for both those reasons, bluray and the ads/marketing

I don't think developers are jumping ship for one reason. I've talked to some programmers who have worked on the PS3 and they freely admit that its a BITCH to program for. One thing Microsoft did very well is making their console very accessible to developers.

Yeah, I did read that the core is harder to develop form. But I read in the beginning of the year that Sony cut the price of dev kits for ps3 in half, and they're putting more attempts in making it easier to develop ps3 games. But I still think the bluray will make a huge factor in the ps3. Obvious is that consumers will eventually want to get a bluray player. Plus, games are becoming bigger in size, as I mentioned Uncharted and MGS4. Eventually that will be the normal size of games.

A 90-minute cutscene is fucking retarded. That basically makes the game a Metal Gear Solid movie, only with an interactive portion.

Considering that they filled a full dual layer Blu Ray Disc, that still leaves lots of gameplay, even if half the game is cutscenes. Large amounts of cutscenes have been present in all of the games so far, and considering how this is supposedly the end of Snake I don't see how this could (or should) be any different with all the story left to go. You can always skip them!

The rumor that MGS4 has up to 90min cutscenes has been denied allready. The ending cutscene is one the longest one at about 60min, which has also been confirmed.
