Really nice cage!!! But your degus would be grateful for a larger running wheel. Perhaps one made of wood. You even can get some with ball bearing. They really are very silent!
Nope, many people say they are noisy because they bite of the metal bars of the cage but my degus cant do that cause the cage made out of wood ; )
They used to be a bit more noisy in their old cage and would wake up at night a lot since they would sleep when I was gone during the day. In their new home, they are awake most of the day and are very active until about 1 am (about when I go to bed as well) so they sleep the same time I do...

Well i've been browsing some websites for a few days and visited 2 pet shops, not alot of pet shops sell them. But if I find some I think I will buy 3, depends on the size of cage I find. But I am not sure if I should buy 3 female degu's or 3 male.
In the livingroom. My family wasnt thrilled at the prospect of having a degu cage and possibly lots of bedding on the livingroom's carpet floor. The floor around the cage is always clean, nothing gets through the glass doors...most of the time :)
Can I order a cage like this? & if so how much would it cost?

Not surprising, degus are quite rare in most parts of the world and are seldom seen in pet stores.

The sex of the group doesnt matter, as long as they are all the same sex, there wont be any problems. I have 4 females, they get along great.
