why hate teri polo. She is much less whiny than emmy rossum. The character of christine is essentially despicable anyway and this actress does a great job of masking that.

Oh. I just dislike Christine because she's not an interesting character and I don't know why she gets so much attention, especially from such a fascinating man like Erik. He deserves better. I'd say she's inadvertently lead him on in most versions, but I've never gotten the vibe that she was trying to break his heart. Anyone would find him alluring. It might take some time to decide how you really feel about him, though.
