I do not think the Jews and AIPAC happy with the opinions of this man! But the question is? Can Nader or any other leader challenge the Jewish AIPAC??? entire America belongs to the AIPAC organization! This is a reality! THEY OWN YOU!?
Just for one unfair, isreal which is created by snatching poor Palestinian land by conspiracy, money and military power by the cruel criminal American Zionist lobby who are running USA but dont love USA if need to destroy even USA for Israel they will do it and doing it. Put the 250 million American into financial trouble by taking USA into unfair war in the name of terrorism try to create hate among mus and American.
SLAUGHTERING THE NATIVE PALESTINIAN POPULATION AT A RATIO OF 8 to 1 YEAR AFTER YEAR AND THEN CLAIMING ISRAEL IS THE VICTIM OF 'TERRORISM' AND ANTISEMITISM` IS SIMPLY LAUGHABLE BY ANY RATIONAL LOGIC RELIGION OR CREED!. NO EXCUSES ARE `ACCEPTABLE FOR THESE LEVELS OF USA AND UK SPONSORED TERROR!. NOT EVEN THE TANAK ALLOWS KILLING BEYOND AN EYE FOR AN EYE.
NOTE: Sources for the "8 vs 1" ratio is BeT Selem Israeli Human Rights Group

I hope the ideas that Ralph's been talking about like: congressional watchdog groups public demands for time slot ownership on our TV and radio airwaves, then selling prime time slots to finance true public programming (like debates).
Instant Runoff Voting
become the focus of ALL progressives, regardless of the many factions they may align themselves with (it will benefit them all).
I come from a dictatorship: we have one candidate.
Here, in land of democracy we have two.
So whats the big fuss all about?!!!
Its a shame they do not allow Ralphand Matt participate in the debates.
They are the candidates with a record of getting thing done for the people and have clear definition of change and hope, (not fluff) and are not planning to Obliterate Iran from the map.
So I want to use the media of the people by the people and do this the old fashioned way by volunteering
Truth. It is clear. Nader indicts the Federal Reserve cartel. He lays out grounds for high treason. That my friends is what truthful people do.
2.3 Trillion Dollars was lost by the Pentagon. It was announced because a whistle blower exposed the fraud. It is entirely ignored by YOUR CORRUPT CONGRESS.
The VERY NEXT DAY, the SEC headquarters was vaporized in NYC.
2 innocent countries were invaded for having a CIA dictator and CIA run poppy fields.
What happened to Nader? It seems as though the liberal corporate media has conspired to keep him off TV. I heard Nader complaining about PBS's Bill Moyers and Terri Gross blacklisting him. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING: THE BIGGEST DESTROYERS OF FREE SPEECH IN AMERICA ARE LIBERALS. I read that there is a move afoot in Missouri that Obama people want the police to arrest people who disagree with Obama. What will things be like if he gets in the White House?
TYRANT - any person in a position of authority who exercises power oppressively or despotically.
With his sending thousands of soldiers to death, excessive war efforts and choices, and his flagrant overriding the choice of the majority...I truly believe that Bush will first go down in history as the worst US president, and in time, as a tyrant.
Unlike most historical tyrants, though, he was not acting alone.
each president is trained to be bad enough to make you accept the rule next president until we reach the NEW WORLD ORDER
Obama is going to destroy the middle class, encourage a race war, bring socialism, expand the war of terror, that will have people choose a new president that will further bushes fascist agenda
Can you imagine an american president afflicted with altruism? a president that doesn't need a translator since he speaks 7 languages? can you imagine democracy? it's time we went from the dumbest president we've ever had to one whose IQ is somewhere around 170! it's time we elect ralph nader for president!
democrats, you say i'm splitting the vote with you? think again, i don't vote for either of the two major parties! abandon that sinking ship and join nadergonzalez o8!!! that goes for you too republicans! we're all people, who needs political parties!
Here's an example of how the elites who control the democrats and republicans blackout anyone telling the truth. I'm from atlanta,ga home to Cynthia Mckinney and Bob Barr. BOth are from atlanta and are running for President. Yet my home newspaper mentions nothing of them! lol! Of course those who control the media also run both parties. Its all desigened to persuade the masses that no one is viable except obama/mccaain. Propaganda such as "spoiler" is used for truthtellers like nader.
For these words to come out of the mouths of these sort of men who are not just some random conspiracy theorist is deeply unsettling and says a lot about where our nation is headed.
We sometimes need to laugh at the absurdity of what we, as a civilization, have wrought upon our selves.
The important thing to realize is that the entire world it at a crossroad. We're all going in different directions. But there are some who are saying that we should all be going in one direction. They don't care if the majority wants to go their own separate ways. Humans everywhere are losing the ability to have,or express our own opinions.
There's only one logical reason on earth to support Ralph Nader: if you want to see McCain get elected. Nader supporters have in fact been suspected of being Republican operatives. It's actually a good strategy for them.

Apparently you are the one who has not watched this video. It is almost entirely a string of not very coherent comments about Bush/Cheney — in some kind of insane denial that he's the one more responsible than any single individual for Bush/Cheney being elected. 22,000 votes by Nader's useful idiots in New Hampshire handed the state over to the Republicans in 2000.
He, and you, are the best friends Bush, Cheney and McCain ever had. Next time you see an Iraq vet missing a leg, think about that.
so, you think there is a difference between the democrats and the republicans? no healthcare, forever war, redundant military spending, no labor union support, no end to warrantless domestic espionage, no livable wages and on and on and on. well, friend, if Nader doesn't win, you can be sure Mr. Six or Mr. Half-Dozen will. so rest easy. hooray fascism!
Right. I forgot that NADER's the one who got Bush and Cheney elected in 2000 with his "22,000 votes" from NH. Did you forget that over 3 million people voted for Bush? They're just a TAD more integral in getting him elected than the ones who DIDN'T vote for him. Using your logic, if more people had voted for NADER, then we wouldn't have this issue. Why not blame all those Gore/Kerry voters for spoiling Nader's chances?
Huh? Please, take another stab at this. But next time, try to make one or two of your sentences (?) have at least a smattering of logical relationship to each other.
Also, try to do some really simple math (I know you can do it!). Add 22,000 votes for Nader (by people who imagine themselves to be intelligent social progressives) to the Democratic column for New Hampshire in 2000, and see what happens to the national electoral vote. What happens? C'mon, don't be shy.
WOW! Nader has been instituting change since the 70's. It's ignorant to suggest a struggle for the right candidate is wrong if he doesn't win the 1st x. The next time you're issued a voucher for a missed/cancelled flight, your neighbor gets help with her addiction while pregant, your kid doesn't choke on an unsafe toy, your drinking water is cleaner, your parents got help with a denied pension, you get a Pell Grant, your cigatette doesn't burn your house down you can thank Ralph Nader. JACKASS!
Supporters of Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel:
It is imperative that you vote for Ralph Nader in the upcoming general elections this November. Nader is the one running candidate remaining that promises to bring US Military Personnel home from Iraq and to put a stop to the escalating military threats against Iran and Russia.
Obama is not a "smidge better" than mccain. HEs the same. He is not going to expose the federal reserve's control over our country. He's for the war in iraq, 700 military bases, deficit spending, the unconstitutional income tax, NAFTA(which cant be abolished), He's for the FISA bill, the patrtiot act, etc. They offer different party names not political philosophies. In short hes for the warfare state and the welfare state, national security state. They offer difference in party names not ideas
The expenditures of the war in Iraq have amounted to over $545 billion worth of American Taxpayers' incomes since the U.S. invasion of Iraq in March of 2003 and it is expected to cost the U.S. government over $3 trillion in the near future. There are a growing number of websites all across the internet that validate the actual pretexts for the invasion of Iraq as an instrument for large corporations to take possession of the major oil reserves in Iraq and other Middle Eastern regimes.
Cynthia McKinney = the Green Party candidate. She supports a smaller government and decentralization.
Although I do not like ANY politicians, the politicians I have found who are truly for the people are the following.
Cynthia McKinney (Green Party), Mike Gravel (Libertarian), Ralph Nader (Independent) and maybe Ron Paul (Republican -- he wasn't a hypocrite, he was for the people but with his form of 'libertarianism', corporations would take control).
I would love to hear what Nader things of Ron Paul, In all honesty I think Nader does not realize the hold cultural and fiscal conservatives have over this country.
single payer healthcare is not good. If anything, we should be on a state by state system. Single payer for all Americans is just too much bureaucracy to be any good.
What we have now is a senseless bureaucracy. To many people go without care, the ones who do have care are shafted by the industry either with payment refusals or just silly technicalities. Health care handled by the private companies breeds corruption it's a horrible system. A health care system needs to accommodate for the needs of the people, being treated based on your health rather then your wallet.
Most Americans treat politics like a spectator sport, rather than as our solemn duty -- the "price" by which we "pay for" our freedom.
As a result, what we mostly care about is making sure that "our team" wins. And, as a result of *that*, we are willing to forgive "our team" any wrong.
We've given up our conscience. More importantly, we've given up that fierce love of liberty that makes us America.
Ralph was right. Things are a lot worse than we thought: Americans have failed to be free.
Politicians go negative because it works. It works because there are lots of people out there like you. Let's take WMD. 1. 500 chemical artillery rounds were found, left over from the Iran-Iraq War. 2. There is evidence Saddam shipped stuff to Syria right before the attack. 3. WMD was not the only reason given, if you can read, go back and read state of the union addresses. 4. The political ploy is called "framing the discussion". It works well. Some people will say and do anything to win.
I had the same revaltion. A big attack would allow the Wigs to cancel the 2008 election, create martial law and then we're F*CKED! U.S. Concentration Camps DO EXIST!
He won't make it into the Presidential Debates without a massive public outcry. The CPD is controlled by former Democratic and Republican party members and funded by the corporations that run Washington and fear people like Ralph that threaten the status quo. The present electoral system is rigged and biased. In order to get Ralph in the debates we need to take action and convince others to do the same. It is not a lost cause. see opendebates . org
Fck those other two pieces of shit, Obama and McCain. They are both sell outs and the fact that dems and GOP think they are diff nd to wake up. They stand for the same thing-they support big business and screw the majority of Americans. I voted for N and felt proud. 2004 I voted for Kerry and I felt sick afterward. Blah! What a dork. Wake up people. That's what we need to do-ÚSA is messed up and dems and gop are making it worse
I voted for him the first time he ran. That was 3 elections ago. The man is not going to win and just wastes a ton of money trying. His chances shrink every time he runs. Great ideas - bad marketing.
the reason nader has lost is b/c majority of americans cant see past reps or dems. most ppl vote out of fear of one party or the other. alot of ppl have said the same thing he cant win and wastes money. if all those ppl rid their minds of those thoughts he could. ppl need to wake up.

Ralph Nader....What a SAD, PATHETIC man you've become -- a bigot, racist, FAT PIG. You're old news dude, like the rest of the old farts from your era you're the past, you're mind is old, you're ideas are old, your're rhetorics are old, you're OLD period. Crawl back in your hole until you get sick and eventually die and disappear. If attention is what you want old man, I'm giving you mine -- here it is.
I would vote for Nader/Gonzalez if he would come out for a 30 hour work week for all Federal employees. This is the key step to moving the whole nation towards full employment. NO, I am not a federal employee.
Impeach Bush NOW but there is danger! 'Torture, war of aggression, illegal surveillance (a felony-a fiver year term)), arrest without charges ("detainees") are reasons to impeach. If Bush were impeached, however, the autocratic ruler, would attack Iran from the air, declare a national emergency, institute martial law and call off the 2008 election were the democrats to initiate impeachment,' Mr. Ralph Nader. We need a new opposition party! Stop fascism today before the world becomes doomed!
***** If McCain and Obama don't agree to let Ron Paul and Ralph Nader into the summer debates being planned, we NEED to PROTEST and RAISE A MAJOR RUCKUS!!!!
We NEED to send the political establishment a LOUD AND CLEAR message that if they try to block out our voice, WE WILL REVOLT.
If they try to block our voice out we NEED to LET THEM KNOW that we WILL, to quote Dylan: "shake your windows and rattle your walls."
Senator Joe Lieberman has penned a letter to Google, asking them to ban content on YouTube that is produced by organizations considered to be terrorist, such as Al Qaeda. Lieberman asserts that Islamic terrorist groups are using YouTube to "'disseminate their propaganda, enlist followers and provide weapons training.'
Fuck Lieberman!!! I ain't seen one video yet on here that resembles anything such! WHat he wants is to stop the exchange of free thoughts and ideas, especially in an election year. Censorship is always a slippery slope. He wants You Tube to be like corporate media, censoring people like Ralph.
My apologies, Mr. Lieberman. Even though I do not agree with what you were trying to do, I should have more respect for you as a public figure. You know, attacks on our leaders should never get too personal, even with George W.
But hey, give George some props! He introduced "flip-flopper" into the modern political lexicon. C'mon, you didn't hear that shit until Bush-Kerry! "He's flip-floppin'"
We owe him that one.
I still think George W. would be a great party guest.

Ralph Nader is the worst man in American History. He got Bush elected twice for want of fulfilling his own narcissistic reasons.
Fuck you Ralph Nader I hope you drop dead of a heart attack. Don't attempt to run a doomed-to-fail campaign that can't even receive 5% of the vote (Wasn't it less than 1% last time), when you run the risk of getting a man like George Bush elected.
I whole heartedly support the idea of a breaking of the two party system that has controlled America for far too long. However, when a man like Ralph Nader, who has a tiny following, but just large enough to sway an election in George Bush's favor, is considering to run, (dare I say it?) he should follow practicality rather than principal.
It needs done. But YOU are not the man Ralph. After countless presidential campaigns and support dwindling, one would think you'd realize it by now.
its not naders fault bush won, watch the videos on election fraud, or read about the Ohio fraud with electronic voting machines. me and nader both know that it wasnt his fault. if the numbers on ur tv represented the true votes, then gore would have won, and nader would have done better, i promise you, just RESEARCH THE ELECTION FRAUD, i mean voting machines with no paper trail, and only one final number thats easily changed by any programmer? its been proven, they did tests on these machines!
Don't forget about the outdated and unneeded piece of the US election system: The Electoral College. Between that and election fraud, it's a wonder that any votes count at all.
In 2000, a vote for Ralph Nader was a vote for Bush. In 2004, a vote for Raplh Nader was a vote for Bush. In 2008, a vote for Ralph Nader will be a vote for Bush... Yeah, that's right, because a vote for McCain will be a vote for Bush. Nader attacks and attacks the President in this video, but if it were not for him, we would not have President Bush. Shame on you, Mr. Nader! Shame on you!
Hes talking about the dems being an incapable opposition party. People voted the dems back into Congress to counter Bush, & they haven't.
The Democrats should be able to eviserate Bush, but they can't, & when they're in Congress they don't. REASON is on their side.
If they can't muster the courage of their conviction to let reason and Constitutional law "hang" Bush & his policy-clone McCain, then what makes them more fit than Nader to hold the Executive office.
You're right. We elected the Democrats in 2006 to impeach Bush and throw his ass in prison and they have failed at this miserably. They betrayed us. I am not a fan of either party, but I especially hate the Republicans. They're all evil (except Ron Paul, a genuinelly good man). As far as I'm concerned, most of the Democratic Party has greater trouble finding a spine than the Republicans have at finding weapons of mass destruction.
I, however, believe in Barack Obama. He is the real thing and he has the strength, the intellect, and most importantly, the 'spine' to battle our Corporate oppressors and clean up as much of Bush's mess as any person can in 4-8 years. Ralph Nader is NOT the real deal. He accepts funding from the Republican GOP because they know that he has no chance 'whatsoever' of winning. Ralph Nader knows he has no chance. No one who accepts funding from the Republican GOP is fit to run this nation.
I hate the neo-cons as well, and voted for Barack in the primaries, but I'm not entirely sold on him. I tend to believe that he's just a great speaker, who is holding his cards close in this long primary to protect himself from McCain. He's super intelligent and different. I think he may over estimate himself at times, and the voters may be doing so as well in their desperation. It is cliche, and gop noise, but there is truth to the fact that he has not really been tested.
Like Nader said, I think Obama knows what time it is in regards to corporate power and such, but I'm just not sure he has the cunning and fortitude to weather the fight, and guide foreign policy. I think the reality we'll get will probably fall short of the dream we're being sold - b/c if he does take on corporate power, the WTO/World Bank, etc they will try to strangle the economy and destroy all his efforts. Those are just my concerns.
He is impressive. I think that he's right about almost every issue and he would probably make a good President if elected. He was definitely the best candidate in 2004, because I am no fan of John Kerry. He probably would have done better than Gore, as well, because I don't always like him, either. But I can never forgive Ralph Nader because he gave us Bush in both elections and he knows that he gave us Bush. I believe him to be an odd individual, to put it kindly, who strokes his own ego.
But as you also implied, this isn't 2000 or 2004. This is 2008 and I believe Barack Obama to be the real deal. I can give no proof for this, of course, but I can be a very good judge of character. I look at Obama and I can see the honestly and integrity behind his speeches. I don't like him because of his ability to give a speech, I like him because I believe him to be honest.
A great example of his integrity is in the way he handles all the negative attacks he has to endure from Hilary and McCain. Never once has he sunk to their level. Never once has he approved of a negative attack ad, and he has always, always, treated them with respect no matter what. This is the candidate we've been waiting for. I can just feel it in my gut. But if by some chance Barack Obama doesn't live up to his slogan and promises, I will be among the first people to call him on it.
Ralph Nader is a true patriot who tells the TRUTH. Some people can't handle the truth because it hits them where they know, deep down, they and their chosen "leaders" are WEAK. They are so insecure about it that they'll do ANYTHING to prevent the truth getting out and will do ANYTHING to discredit anyone who dares to tell it; even try to DESTROY them.
But the TRUTH will rise like cream to the top when the people realize they've been LIED to, and then the REVOLUTION of the PEOPLE will begin.
You gotta have NO COMMON SENSE to not be for Ralph Nadar. When are people gonna catch on to how dangerous Ron Paul is and join the NADAR 2008 campaign? Best edeucational movement that there is.
That's NOT true. I am a BIG fan of BOTH Ralph Nader and Ron Paul.
I'm tired of people on the right saying Ralph Nader is "dangerous". And it's no better when people on the left use that adjective to describe Paul.
Aside from differences on economics, they are the SAME on the MOST important issues facing us today: The war in Iraq, the U.S.'s misguided foreign policy, and the erosion of civil liberties.
BOTH are TRUTH tellers. WATCH my videos and see why Paul is NOT "dangerous".
I respect your position, but you've missed what Ron Paul has been saying on this issue.
His position is that although he is against abortion in his personal beliefs and feels the fetus has rights too, as President, he would NOT act one way or the other because the President, technically, does not have Constitutional authority to act on this issue (remember: he's ALL about actually FOLLOWING the Constitution). He would allow the decision to be made independently by each state.
You are incorrect. I missed NOTHING. The whole idea of trying to run things through the states is insane in today's globalist aociety. This is only ONE reason I don't care for Ron Paul anyway. I get very tired of arguing with the Ron Paul people. I am disabled and really don't care for his antiPEOPLE attitudes. I don't care for ideologues.
What would be the problem with running things through the States?
It'd certainly make representatives more accountable for their voting, and more beholden to their voters. George Bush is banking on the fact that he only has to control 535 members of congress, rather than millions of active citizens who will oust candidates that take direction from the Executive brand, rather than themselves.
What about living in a 'globalized' means we have to surrender our power/rights? For what?
We ARE NOT "antiPEOPLE". This is a revolution OF the PEOPLE, from BOTH the the left and the right, to TAKE back OUR government, bring PEACE and RESTORE civil liberties.
Where you're really missing the point is that this is about Ron Paul. It is NOT. Many of his followers are pro choice. Many of us are from the anti war left. We could just as easy latch on to Nader in the fall, but see Paul as the main one who CAN really kick the door of CHANGE in.
There are social issues where the truth tellers diverge. But putting their ideas together would make quite a revolutionary coalition. I support Gravel because he has economic ideals similar to Paul's but diverges in the monetary policies and theories (and I do not support gold standard like Paul does, as gold is highly speculative). Gravel's views on social aspects in politics are more to my liking than Paul's. He and Nader are very good friends and very much alike. Hope we can see them unite.
Though Paul prefers gold, if you read his platform, you'll notice he is NOT going to just switch the currency over to gold.
His plan is to have TWO competing currencies: One backed by gold and one paper fiat. He knows the arguments in favor of fiat, so he will allow BOTH. In times of strong gold (like NOW), Americans can CHOOSE gold. When it goes down, or when situations warrant advantageous, they would have the CHOICE to switch back to paper fiat. It would create SOUND money
Wait, that doesn't make much sense. In times of strong gold he will allow people to CHOOSE gold (only to cause further speculative inflation???)? First off, people have lost the notion of what money really is. Money is as arbitrary as what you use to back it (if anything). The thing that I liked about Ron Paul is that he openly attacks our current monetary system and overspending, but to promote two competing currencies still does nothing to curtail spending and stabilize the dollar.
No. You'd have a choice ANY time. There would be 2 currencies: 1 backed by gold and 1 fiat.
The responsibility would fall on the individual to decide which one to be invested in at any given time.
Until '71 the money was backed by gold (at Fort Knox-the gold is still there!). The Constitution MANDATES it. The Founding Fathers were BIG on backing the currency with something of intrinsic value so it could NOT go into a free fall like the Continental Dollar did to PROTECT against inflation
That's where we differ. And the Constitution does not mandate gold backed currency. It just gives provisions to the government to coin money. The founding fathers knew the benefits of circulating a fiat currency (Colonial Scrip) and reaped the benefits. It was being forced to accept the gold backed currency of the Crown and the war that forced the currency to become inflated. Money is arbitrary. Hard currency has many pitfalls and is highly speculative in nature. We need to think beyond that.
There are fair arguments pro and con for/against fiat or gold backed money. Perhaps it is fair to say that at one point in time, one might be more advantageous, but in another, the other may be better. This argument is moot because Ron Paul would allow BOTH. An advantage of gold is that it goes UP in times of uncertainty or calamity. If the individual wants to safeguard himself, he can do so with gold. But when gold appears headed down, he could switch over to fiat
The Constitution mandates that only gold & silver can be legal tender. Research the Continental Dollar and its collapse and the ensuing hyper inflation which soured the Founding Fathers on the notion of fiat. With gold/silver, the big advantage is that the money is backed by something of intrinsic value underneath it instead of just thin air (prevents a free fall). It forces the government to spend within its means since it can't print money out of thin air to pay debts
I've researched the issue enough. The ensuing inflation of Colonial Scrip was due to the war. There is not big advantage to using hard currency because the intrinsic value of the currency is just as arbitrary as anything you can base the fiat system. There is short term stability (longer short terms than with fiat) with backing but it You do not realize the arbitrariness of money, which is the problem with people trying to use monetary theory to base policy on.
There are fair arguments in favor/disfavor for both. I'm not trying to get in a debate about whether gold backed or fiat is better. Nor is Ron Paul. His plan is to give you and I a CHOICE between BOTH (1 gold backed, 1 fiat COMPETING against one another like the Euro vs. the pound). If one is devaluating, you have the option of going into the other to safeguard stability. If you like fiat, then you'd have the CHOICE to stay with it. He's NOT stopping you.
True, I know what Ron Paul is advocating, and such debating really doesn't get us anywhere unless we study the monetary theory and the macro/micro economic forces controlling the value of the currency. There are some obvious things that need to be done and I like the fact that Ron Paul proposes rational solutions to these problems (though I do not agree with some of his other social and environmental policies). The only thing that we can do now is to educate everyone about these problems.
It certainly doesn't take a fancy PHD to understand that the county is piling on WAY too much debt which is forcing the currency to devaluate. This is where Paul shines.
The only way to build down the debt (without throwing millions of people out in the street that is) is to build down this massive empire we're running abroad. Paul doesn't just stop at questioning the Iraq. He's challenging the whole screwed up premiss of the $trillion/year world policing U.S. foreign policy
Too bad I hate his stances on various social and environmental issues. Paul is not the only one challenging the fiscal gap and our runaway spending. I like what he stands for and I think if you combine him with Gravel, Nader, and the rest of the truth tellers, we can have a winning combination. As it stands however, I cannot give him my vote. American imperialism must stop, the control of our money supply must be put back in the hands of the Congress, and we must wake up and smell the garbage.

BTW, this is Nader's THIRD run for the presidency...DON'T YOU THINK HE WOULD'VE LEARNED HOW TO WIN BY NOW (I mean, HOW could he possibly attempt it again, when he isn't very wealthy)?! It seems obvious, that he IS being paid off by the Repubs, like alot of people believe!!!
ALL of the "frontrunners" R CORRUPT MF's! VOTE 4 MIKE GRAVEL!! This GR8 MAN (who's CONSTANTLY been DISSED by mainstream media, SOLELY 4 BEING A MAJOR THREAT TO ALL THAT IS CORRUPT) is THE ONLY INTELLIGENT, ETHICAL, & COURAGEOUS candidate remaining, who IMPLEMENTS "CHANGE", rather than merely TALKING about it, LOOK UP HIS PAST POLITICAL HISTORY YOURSELF, THEN BE SURE TO SPREAD THE WORD ASAP (btw, in order to vote for him, U MUST change your party to "LIBERTARIAN" by AUGUST 4 OF THIS YEAR)!
Scotty, please please please do some research. Al Gore is one of the elite, untouchables in this country. If he even wanted to be president, he would have been!! Remember, the Supreme Court decided the election in 2000!! What the - !? Al Gore rolled over like a good little boy - like I'm sure he was told to - and got to keep his riches and status. Face it, there was a coup in this country (corporation?)in 2000, and we the people watched it happen!! Nader is a true patriot, my friend.
Yes, things are worse thank to you, you dumbass. If you hadn't run a meaningless campaign for president in 2000 Al Gore would be president now, and the US wouldn't be facing half the problems it's facing.
Yeah, maybe he was the best, but in America, if you're not a member of the two major parties you will NOT win, and it was futile for Nader to try to do so in 2000. If he hadn't, Bush would not have won.
You are correct that the cards were stacked against Nader in 2000 being not in one of the 2 parties (and are still now), however, people who oppose the status quo have a moral, ethical, and PATRIOTIC duty to oppose the corrupt mainstream in BOTH parties and vote 3rd Party if necessary if the nominated candidates are from the corrupt ruling mainstream of the 2 party's and not be blind sheep.
Nader's voters in 2000 are the types that would have voted 3rd party even if he had NOT run.

Imagine the effect.

They are the candidates with a record of getting thing done for the people and have clear definition of change and hope, (not fluff) and are not planning to Obliterate Iran from the map.

Painful truths. We are run by crooks.

When we got into office, the thing that surprised methe most was that things were as bad as we'd been saying they were.
( John F. Kennedy )
Now Ralph Nader is saying Congress has painted itself into a corner.
Impeach Bush, and he will declare Martial Law first.
Don't Impeach Bush, and Martial Law provision will be kept by him on the burner.
So Bush is already Emperor Bush.
Who can touch him even if he is Star War Emperor in disguise?
It is funny if it is not also tragic. :)

Woody Allen said "comedy is well timed tragedy".

Next time you see an Iraq vet missing a leg, think about that.
vistacruiser59 3 years ago
so, you think there is a difference between the democrats and the republicans? no healthcare, forever war, redundant military spending, no labor union support, no end to warrantless domestic espionage, no livable wages and on and on and on. well, friend, if Nader doesn't win, you can be sure Mr. Six or Mr. Half-Dozen will. so rest easy. hooray fascism!

There was Ron Paul and Kucinich, but Americans just don't get it.
Are they fat, lazy, stupid, etc...? Whatever you blame it on, Americans have let their country go to crap.
amdura 3 years ago
Why not blame all those Gore/Kerry voters for spoiling Nader's chances?
abaseraserhead 3 years ago

Ralph Nader handled Ali quite well.

Health care handled by the private companies breeds corruption it's a horrible system.

Ralph Nader is the worst man in American History. He got Bush elected twice for want of fulfilling his own narcissistic reasons.
Fuck you Ralph Nader I hope you drop dead of a heart attack. Don't attempt to run a doomed-to-fail campaign that can't even receive 5% of the vote (Wasn't it less than 1% last time), when you run the risk of getting a man like George Bush elected.
arcturus8765 3 years ago
I whole heartedly support the idea of a breaking of the two party system that has controlled America for far too long. However, when a man like Ralph Nader, who has a tiny following, but just large enough to sway an election in George Bush's favor, is considering to run, (dare I say it?) he should follow practicality rather than principal.
It needs done. But YOU are not the man Ralph. After countless presidential campaigns and support dwindling, one would think you'd realize it by now.
arcturus8765 3 years ago
its not naders fault bush won, watch the videos on election fraud, or read about the Ohio fraud with electronic voting machines. me and nader both know that it wasnt his fault. if the numbers on ur tv represented the true votes, then gore would have won, and nader would have done better, i promise you, just RESEARCH THE ELECTION FRAUD, i mean voting machines with no paper trail, and only one final number thats easily changed by any programmer? its been proven, they did tests on these machines!

Put Nader in the debates.
crock703 3 years ago
You're right. We elected the Democrats in 2006 to impeach Bush and throw his ass in prison and they have failed at this miserably. They betrayed us. I am not a fan of either party, but I especially hate the Republicans. They're all evil (except Ron Paul, a genuinelly good man). As far as I'm concerned, most of the Democratic Party has greater trouble finding a spine than the Republicans have at finding weapons of mass destruction.
HyperVonVandalits 3 years ago
I, however, believe in Barack Obama. He is the real thing and he has the strength, the intellect, and most importantly, the 'spine' to battle our Corporate oppressors and clean up as much of Bush's mess as any person can in 4-8 years. Ralph Nader is NOT the real deal. He accepts funding from the Republican GOP because they know that he has no chance 'whatsoever' of winning. Ralph Nader knows he has no chance. No one who accepts funding from the Republican GOP is fit to run this nation.
HyperVonVandalits 3 years ago

Those are just my concerns.
crock703 3 years ago
All politics and strategy aside, when I compare them side by side..
Barack might be great, and the uncertainty about him gives him a lot of room to surprise himself and others.
You can't deny that Ralph Nader is an amazing person though. He has done more for Americans than probably any other living person..
The man can speak Nader can speak Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish - just saying he's impressive.
Either way, his presence in the debates would be a blessing.
crock703 3 years ago 3
He is impressive. I think that he's right about almost every issue and he would probably make a good President if elected. He was definitely the best candidate in 2004, because I am no fan of John Kerry. He probably would have done better than Gore, as well, because I don't always like him, either. But I can never forgive Ralph Nader because he gave us Bush in both elections and he knows that he gave us Bush. I believe him to be an odd individual, to put it kindly, who strokes his own ego.
HyperVonVandalits 3 years ago
But as you also implied, this isn't 2000 or 2004. This is 2008 and I believe Barack Obama to be the real deal. I can give no proof for this, of course, but I can be a very good judge of character. I look at Obama and I can see the honestly and integrity behind his speeches. I don't like him because of his ability to give a speech, I like him because I believe him to be honest.
HyperVonVandalits 3 years ago

RonPaulRevolution4u 3 years ago 4
You gotta have NO COMMON SENSE to not be for Ralph Nadar. When are people gonna catch on to how dangerous Ron Paul is and join the NADAR 2008 campaign? Best edeucational movement that there is.
ladybroadoak 3 years ago
ladybroadoak:
That's NOT true. I am a BIG fan of BOTH Ralph Nader and Ron Paul.
I'm tired of people on the right saying Ralph Nader is "dangerous". And it's no better when people on the left use that adjective to describe Paul.
Aside from differences on economics, they are the SAME on the MOST important issues facing us today: The war in Iraq, the U.S.'s misguided foreign policy, and the erosion of civil liberties.
BOTH are TRUTH tellers. WATCH my videos and see why Paul is NOT "dangerous".

As a woman I take grave exception to Ron Paul trying to overturn Roe v. Wade.

ladybroadoak:
I respect your position, but you've missed what Ron Paul has been saying on this issue.
His position is that although he is against abortion in his personal beliefs and feels the fetus has rights too, as President, he would NOT act one way or the other because the President, technically, does not have Constitutional authority to act on this issue (remember: he's ALL about actually FOLLOWING the Constitution). He would allow the decision to be made independently by each state.
RonPaulRevolution4u 3 years ago
You are incorrect. I missed NOTHING. The whole idea of trying to run things through the states is insane in today's globalist aociety. This is only ONE reason I don't care for Ron Paul anyway. I get very tired of arguing with the Ron Paul people. I am disabled and really don't care for his antiPEOPLE attitudes. I don't care for ideologues.
ladybroadoak 3 years ago
What would be the problem with running things through the States?
It'd certainly make representatives more accountable for their voting, and more beholden to their voters. George Bush is banking on the fact that he only has to control 535 members of congress, rather than millions of active citizens who will oust candidates that take direction from the Executive brand, rather than themselves.
What about living in a 'globalized' means we have to surrender our power/rights? For what?
crock703 3 years ago
ladybroadoak:
We ARE NOT "antiPEOPLE". This is a revolution OF the PEOPLE, from BOTH the the left and the right, to TAKE back OUR government, bring PEACE and RESTORE civil liberties.
Where you're really missing the point is that this is about Ron Paul. It is NOT. Many of his followers are pro choice. Many of us are from the anti war left. We could just as easy latch on to Nader in the fall, but see Paul as the main one who CAN really kick the door of CHANGE in.
Please watch my videos. Cheers.

Hope we can see them unite.

mindtraveler2350:
Though Paul prefers gold, if you read his platform, you'll notice he is NOT going to just switch the currency over to gold.
His plan is to have TWO competing currencies: One backed by gold and one paper fiat. He knows the arguments in favor of fiat, so he will allow BOTH. In times of strong gold (like NOW), Americans can CHOOSE gold. When it goes down, or when situations warrant advantageous, they would have the CHOICE to switch back to paper fiat. It would create SOUND money
RonPaulRevolution4u 3 years ago
Wait, that doesn't make much sense. In times of strong gold he will allow people to CHOOSE gold (only to cause further speculative inflation???)? First off, people have lost the notion of what money really is. Money is as arbitrary as what you use to back it (if anything). The thing that I liked about Ron Paul is that he openly attacks our current monetary system and overspending, but to promote two competing currencies still does nothing to curtail spending and stabilize the dollar.
mindtraveler2350 3 years ago
RonPaulRevolution4u 3 years ago
That's where we differ. And the Constitution does not mandate gold backed currency. It just gives provisions to the government to coin money. The founding fathers knew the benefits of circulating a fiat currency (Colonial Scrip) and reaped the benefits. It was being forced to accept the gold backed currency of the Crown and the war that forced the currency to become inflated. Money is arbitrary. Hard currency has many pitfalls and is highly speculative in nature. We need to think beyond that.
mindtraveler2350 3 years ago
To mindtraveler2350: Part 2:
There are fair arguments pro and con for/against fiat or gold backed money. Perhaps it is fair to say that at one point in time, one might be more advantageous, but in another, the other may be better. This argument is moot because Ron Paul would allow BOTH. An advantage of gold is that it goes UP in times of uncertainty or calamity. If the individual wants to safeguard himself, he can do so with gold. But when gold appears headed down, he could switch over to fiat
RonPaulRevolution4u 3 years ago
midtraveler2350: Part 1
The Constitution mandates that only gold & silver can be legal tender. Research the Continental Dollar and its collapse and the ensuing hyper inflation which soured the Founding Fathers on the notion of fiat. With gold/silver, the big advantage is that the money is backed by something of intrinsic value underneath it instead of just thin air (prevents a free fall). It forces the government to spend within its means since it can't print money out of thin air to pay debts
RonPaulRevolution4u 3 years ago
I've researched the issue enough. The ensuing inflation of Colonial Scrip was due to the war. There is not big advantage to using hard currency because the intrinsic value of the currency is just as arbitrary as anything you can base the fiat system. There is short term stability (longer short terms than with fiat) with backing but it You do not realize the arbitrariness of money, which is the problem with people trying to use monetary theory to base policy on.
mindtraveler2350 3 years ago
mindtravler2350:
There are fair arguments in favor/disfavor for both. I'm not trying to get in a debate about whether gold backed or fiat is better. Nor is Ron Paul. His plan is to give you and I a CHOICE between BOTH (1 gold backed, 1 fiat COMPETING against one another like the Euro vs. the pound). If one is devaluating, you have the option of going into the other to safeguard stability. If you like fiat, then you'd have the CHOICE to stay with it. He's NOT stopping you.
RonPaulRevolution4u 3 years ago
True, I know what Ron Paul is advocating, and such debating really doesn't get us anywhere unless we study the monetary theory and the macro/micro economic forces controlling the value of the currency. There are some obvious things that need to be done and I like the fact that Ron Paul proposes rational solutions to these problems (though I do not agree with some of his other social and environmental policies). The only thing that we can do now is to educate everyone about these problems.
mindtraveler2350 3 years ago
mindtraveler2350:
It certainly doesn't take a fancy PHD to understand that the county is piling on WAY too much debt which is forcing the currency to devaluate. This is where Paul shines.
The only way to build down the debt (without throwing millions of people out in the street that is) is to build down this massive empire we're running abroad. Paul doesn't just stop at questioning the Iraq. He's challenging the whole screwed up premiss of the $trillion/year world policing U.S. foreign policy
RonPaulRevolution4u 3 years ago
Too bad I hate his stances on various social and environmental issues. Paul is not the only one challenging the fiscal gap and our runaway spending. I like what he stands for and I think if you combine him with Gravel, Nader, and the rest of the truth tellers, we can have a winning combination. As it stands however, I cannot give him my vote. American imperialism must stop, the control of our money supply must be put back in the hands of the Congress, and we must wake up and smell the garbage.
mindtraveler2350 3 years ago
Things are a lot worse than we think because the American people are to apathetic to stop what is happening to our country.
You say how can we do that?
Vote Nader/Gonzalez that is how!

Scotty7617 3 years ago
Scotty, that is bullshit. Nader's campaign was anything but meaningless. He was the best candidate in '00 and he's the best candidate now.
ralphKNS 3 years ago 2
Yeah, maybe he was the best, but in America, if you're not a member of the two major parties you will NOT win, and it was futile for Nader to try to do so in 2000. If he hadn't, Bush would not have won.
Scotty7617 3 years ago
Scotty7617:
You are correct that the cards were stacked against Nader in 2000 being not in one of the 2 parties (and are still now), however, people who oppose the status quo have a moral, ethical, and PATRIOTIC duty to oppose the corrupt mainstream in BOTH parties and vote 3rd Party if necessary if the nominated candidates are from the corrupt ruling mainstream of the 2 party's and not be blind sheep.
Nader's voters in 2000 are the types that would have voted 3rd party even if he had NOT run.
