I see the phrase "russian men are alcoholics and rude with women" all the time on american or internatioanl websites. But I really think that the problem is highly exaggerated. The idea, that women in Russia are so nice and pretty, while men on the other hand are rude and unsuccessful makes no sense at all.
I am a russian girl, and I am not looking for a marriage abroad, none of my friends do. In fact, I've been to USA and I find my homeland much more pleasant.

I have many Russian friends who is never rude at all they can look cold & untrusting at first but once you earn their trust your friendship is solid! . Americans are not so well traveled & sometimes judgemental on things that they don't see much in America like a certain norm . Russians looks serious & maybe Americans translate that as rude .

Exactly! When I came from Poland to US, everyone thought I was so unfriendly. I don't go around smiling my ass off. I smile and am friendly when I feel that I can trust you. Americans act like they're your friend off the drop of a hat, but are usually insincere. Also, Americans are often very crude and judgmental! They only care about looks and all the cheap whores in Poland want to be like Americans and live in the US!Isn't that ironic!The slutty girls from my country want to come to US.
