OK Ruth is pretty good but she should be a much bigger star than she is.
She needs to get "discovered." Would be great in a big TV role like female star in something like Peul Whitehouse etc .... off beat comedy.
She's got a massive birthmark on her left arm which is holding her back eg pause at 1.25 you can see it, and it's HUGE. This detracts from appearing in different disguises... you see it and you know it's her.
Also she laughs at her own material too much eg 1.27 to 1.32.
Another thing is a lot of her "voices" sound pretty similar. She needs to work on on her character voices which seem to be a feature of her work. Especially a male voice. It's possible for a female to do a good male voice & I think she can do it, but it needs more work.
I would expect to see he starring on TV in a few years time if she works at it & doesn't get up the duff & ruin her career.
Obviously she is hot, clever, & not afraid to talk dirty, but that's not going to take her all the way
What is it with you & moles? I have a small mole on my arm, it's about 5mm which in my world doesn't constitute huge (perhaps this is huge to you - are you a midget?) & I'm not about to get it removed, firstly because it's tiny & secondly because it's part of who I am.
You made a similar comment on one of my Printfriends videos - I think you need to get over this obsession with moles, it's a bit odd. I appreciate your positive comments & other criticisms I can deal with but moles? Really?
I did laugh out loud at the midget comment. I can see you have a good feel for these things!
Well it is small issue, or should I say a 5mm issue to be correct. The thing is, I see you as a comedy actress/impersonator playing different roles. Sometimes the disguises can take the viewer into another world but you see a clue and think oh it is actually Ruth. Kind of spoils the illusion.
5mm is big enough to show up on cam as evidenced by the low res shots here for example. It may be worse on TV.
I would say get that sliced.... OK, you said you weren't going to... but you could always cover it with concealer.
I dunno how you feel but I think "making it" is about getting each tiny aspect better and it all builds up to the whole.
Otherwise you do top performances. I quite enjoy your work generally and will expect to see you make it big, if you get the right opening. I guess that is even more important than getting small things right but the building blocks must be in place first!
this is interesting. i love Ruth Pickett. shes very versatile and talented. also shes totally hot. im also surprised i haven't seen her on TV yet, maybe i have missed the show?
somewhat perturbed by the mole though. she's kind of perfect for a while and then it hits you. a bit like Mike Myers in Austin Powers if you've seen the scene in that movie - you know, holey moley etc.
but, im probably being totally unfair in all this . where can we catch more of you on the internet Ruth?
Seriously? I mean, seriously? Are people actually bothered by a tiny mole on my arm? What's wrong with moles? I have one on my leg as well...maybe I should get that sliced off too...and while I'm at it perhaps I should cut off my entire face and replace it with a plastic mask...
I mean, it's kind of funny. But still quite weird.
Pause at 1:25 and you'll see it on her left arm, which is normally up, cos she is holding the mic.
I'd like to go and see her live she looks like a class act the more I see of her. I'm not sure about the other acts here though. Difficult to tell on the short excerpts.

@flyingpickett Lol why is everybody giving you a hard time about moles?
Come on People, give her a break! she uploads cracking funny videos and all you can do is complain about a mole or two?

I see no mole.
You're obsessed.
