The problem with the idea of welfare driving families apart by allowing the father to abdicate financial responsibility is that it is not really true.
I know that in Florida, when women apply for welfare and medicaid for their children, they are required to identify the father, if they know who he is, or even if they suspect. The state will then go to him and force him to pay child support, through wage garnishment, if necessary, and suspension of drivers license as a "Plan B."
The only thing that I agree with is the fact that that welfare DID take the place of black fathers and subsequently destroyed the black family. There is something WRONG with 73% of black women having kids out of wedlock with no assistance from the absent black father. This means that 73% of black men don't accept the responbility of parenting or the benefits of marriage for these unfortunate children.

Rush Limbaugh and others like him are the exact reason I am so glad Obama won. It is so funny to see the anger and hate in the eyes of those who habor so much bitterness. This same group tried to bring people to their side with fear and a lack of respect for the other side. The irony is it is this group that claims to be so patrotic yet openly express how they will not support the president elect. Real patriots respect the judgement of the American people. The problem with the idea of welfare driving families apart by allowing the father to abdicate financial responsibility is that it is not really true.
I know that in Florida, when women apply for welfare and medicaid for their children, they are required to identify the father, if they know who he is, or even if they suspect. The state will then go to him and force him to pay child support, through wage garnishment, if necessary, and suspension of drivers license as a "Plan B."

The only thing that I agree with is the fact that that welfare DID take the place of black fathers and subsequently destroyed the black family. There is something WRONG with 73% of black women having kids out of wedlock with no assistance from the absent black father. This means that 73% of black men don't accept the responbility of parenting or the benefits of marriage for these unfortunate children.

There has never been a case for voter fraud by ACORN. Rush is attacking ACORN to give an excuse for Republican officials to purge black voters from the voter rolls. This would make it election fraud.
The Bush administration targeted ACORN. US Attorneys investigated ACORN for voter fraud. They found none; they only found evidence of illegal purging.
Rove tried to get them to make-up charges. The Attorneys refused, and were then fired. This is why Rove is under investigation now.
