you want to know why it didn't work with either Orange soda or Root Beer? because Coke and Diet Coke only carry the following: Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Caramel Color, Phosphoric Acid, Natural Flavors and Caffeine. most other sodas have additional sugars and citric acid. therefore these "experiments" don't work as well as Coke does. if you tried it with Pepsi also, it would have similar results as the ones shown in this video
