Yes some beats are simple but I challenge you to go out and attempt to make a cover version of the more complex beats out there and see if its easy. Just because one does not make paintings does not make him less of an artist, there are other forms as well. @rodthepimp I don't think its fair to say that what people do in hip hop is not art. Yes some beats are simple but I challenge you to go out and attempt to make a cover version of the more complex beats out there and see if its easy. Just because one does not make paintings does not make him less of an artist, there are other forms as well. You can't force everyone to conform to a certain style, maybe I don't enjoy instruments all the time am I a bad person?

I would hate to be young in this day and age. all the fun and good music waived bye bye in 2001.
