Stages to God:

Its ALL in Japji, the 5 khands. Now in the second Khand, person can begin to, through meditation or other means, gain knowledge of creation (Gian Khand): It beuttiful, where you can gain knowledge and see millions of plants, moons, suns, religions, great saints throughout the cosmos. Then there is the 3rd and 4th Khand, in the 5th Khand, one merges with God and begins to know that there are infinite universes in the cosmos and so on. Great trnalsation at sikhs dot org.

sister as you know that sikhism is the only religion who is so near to God

Dear friend,

I am a proud, devout Sikh. And for that reason, I believe its not the religion but the man that can become closer to god. Sikhism, isn't the "only religion so near god". I just want all non-Sikhs reading these posts not to be confused.

The Sikhism philosophy is that any one can be close to god; A Muslim through his religion, A Hindu through his...etc. Because at the end...we are all praying with love to the same supreme being.

I don't mean any disrespect by this.

God Himself appeared in person & smilingly spoke in a very sweet husky voice "teri sachhi mohabbat Meinu azeez hai, baaki sabh kuch Mere teh chadd de" translated as "your truest love is most dearest to Me, leave the rest unto Me"
