Atamosk2 said that most likely because of the fact the bullets from the enemies are moving sooooo slow. They speed up further down the line as you progress through the game apparently.

That maybe if it was just a shump. It's more like an action game with different elements to it. The shump aspect is only when you fight bosses. It's like contra with a mix of shump in it.

This game is cheap, great co-op, great controls and it brings old memories, its look-alike contra force in some parts which is a great kickass SNES game so it has that old-school feeling.
