another reason to NOT take ur car or truck to jiffy lube! never been there, never will. thank god my husband is a senior tech at a real shop where they take safety precautions with cars & lifts. yea its possible for a regular lift to fail every blue moon but its rare. this video just showed pure stupidity on both the driver & the tech directing him in. b/c my husbands shop doesnt do emissions, he took his car up the street to jiffy lube & said they almost by a hair almost dropped a car. The lessons one can learn are:

(1) If the Jiffy Store does not use Lift to do oild change, and you are not that confident about your driving skill, you'd better go to the other shop to do change oil.

(2) If u r experienced dvr, u'd better ignore Direction Help from the Jiffy boy. Adjust the direction of your car based ur own judgement --- back out a couples times if needed. U won't feel so fk-ed up to pay the damage cost if the mistake(s) were based u r own decisions.
