  • I tie a similar fly, it's alot like yours, before you added the brown hackle. Except I used a ton of Krystal Flash. The green and orangey kind. I use it for crappie at my fave park lake, caught a 17 incher there.

  • top man, great detail as in all your flies,any chance you could do a fly for seatrout fishing in an estuary as im in donegal and rivers are closed in the area. thanks and if you could do 1 it would be.tied alot of your trout flies but havent tried them yet, will do in the next few months and let you know how they go

    The nylon will protect both hackle and body material as well it will not rot like say if you used a wire rib which would rust...
