well for one thing, windows 7 is supposed to use up alot less ram than vista, when it doesnt seem like it, thus better stable system while leaving pc on for a long time. load speeds are supposed to be faster as well, not just that, Directx 11 ,which is what I'm aiming for.
If your PC is on top end hardware, windows7 is not a bad idea.

So why do I want to update to Windows 7 when it looks exactly like Vista. Those icons are way to large for me.

Low end PC's wont benifit from Vista or Windows7
