For a miss leading minute clip this is a very long fat and lucrative tittle!!" Syria,Jordan Travel Syria and Jordan: Middle East" if this all you seen in Syria and Jordan than you been cheated! but if you seen other things and you said in your comment you have, than why only shown us images the west learned and trained by its media is negative! the answer in my opinion: either you are an amateur filmmaker trying out things or a PR firm firing out one of your negative positive messages.
We have received many similar comments and agree that we could have or should have mixed the images with more modern, contemporary ones. This was our experience, however, riding in a yellow tax for a month throughout Syria. These were the people we were interested in and who took us in. We loved them and learned from them. These are the faces...as well as those in Damascus. I see nothing negative at all in what we show. The narrator is warm and respectful, and we only had a minute. Thanks!
what on earth is this ? This is not a true summary of Syria at all. "travelvideo" let me clarify...
You show all the people wearing those red rags on their heads. "travelvideo" those are the desert beduions who came here to Syria from Arabia thousands of years ago. They are less than 4% of the popluation !
Yes in Jordan many people were those clothes because most of the population are nomadic tribes related to Saudi Arabians...
Yes of course it's different. From Malaloula to Halab..but we had one minute and these are the people wgo took us in. We promise a more representative series and deeply appreciate your comments
In syria each region has different weather. Some areas get very hot... some areas get very cold. You even have ice-capped mountain part of the Golan heights, called Mount Hermon.
You also have the beutifull green mountains and amazing castles in Latakia and Tartous as well as near Turkish border areas.
Likewise there is very cold weather in the north. Same thing applies to some part of jordan such as Amman where its snowing now probably.
DO NOT simply matters and group Syria and Jordan as 1 object. Do no group Syria as 1 object either. Its a big country with many different types of terrains. have you looked at a map recently ? Syria is between Lebanon, cyprus, Turkey, Iraq and Jordan.
Its very clear from the narration that the reporters never visited Syria.
I know you had good intentions but here you are bieng extermely inaccurate. Hope this message finds you well. Please re-make your video.
First, we were indeed in Syria. In Damascus, Palymra, Crac de Chevalier, Tartus, etc. Yes, we should have done something on Damascus We regret we didn't! But these people we saw, ate with in the Okra (Bami) fields are also part of Syria. No, they didn't all come from Saudi Arabia. It was all Greater Syria and the Bedu are a vanishing part of Arab culture. These people extended us great Arab Hospitality and therefore became part of our PostCard.
Please see our comment below. So few words to answer. you. The Khafiey didn't come from Saudi Arabia. There was no Saudi Arabia when people wore the Kafiyea. It was all Greater Syria.
Too bad the Bedu are only 4% of the population. Nomadic peoples are undr atack everywhere. These were the people we ate with and stayed with.
u cant describe syria in a minute , please remove this video since there is no syrian taste in it , u did it on the western media way that is Arabs are living in desert...
Sorry you feel that way. I happen to be of Syrian origin and we shot this in Syria. Yes, we could have and should have captured the cosmopolitan essence of Damascus and the wonders of Halib (Allepo), and we're sorry we didn't.
But you can not say there is no Syrian taste to it. There certainly is...though not complete as it should be. And of course not. No one can capture anything in a minute. It's a postcard and please watch our others
does a book always reflect a persons; life perspective (dressing, upbringing of childs, job...)? morality? rationality? intellectual level? premitiveness? guidence? future? decision making? reputation? sucarlarity?
Hamadn is talking about the narrator in the video referring to them as 'humans'... well duh they're humans, and they have human emotions. I bet they're all assholes, but that's besides the point.
Nevermind, my mistake, the narrator does not refer to them as 'humans'. I'm completely wrong in what I said before. However, I still think that they're assholes and you'd have to be crazy to travel there
erm. as somebody whe spent an entire year studying abroad in the region (Egypt) and 3 months interning in Amman, Jordan, I would like to say that you are very, very wrong.
(Also I'm a woman. And American. And was 20-21 when traveling there. You're just missing out on a great part of the world.)
"Hamadn6" Watch your language. See a doctor to find out if you need to be treated for anger management. I see the symptoms in you. As for the narrator making reference to humanity of the folks in the video, that is said to counter the "demonization" of the people of the region by poweroutlets in the West. Educate yourself. Peace to all.

Wrong in many respects. If you call yourself Jordanian, then you are Jordanian, regardless of your origin.
Jordan has been good to many people, and they chose to belong. Others choose to maintain their original heritage, and nothign wrong with that.

Syria is completely different in its ethnicities, over 20 different languages and many religions. There are even some Jews in Syria still left.
which mid-day heat are you blind ? you think Syria is simply a hot desert ? we have snow in the desert near iraq sometimes !

Yes, we know this. Nothing in our video says we think it is only desert. We show the people, the bami fields, the girl in Ma'aloula.
This is a collage of people whom we met in our month long travels.
