Sounds just like Wake in the overall effect.... Maybe it IS wake, just tweeked a little, or a revised version to better cater to MTM's "sound"? If you watch some other documentaries about the making of an album, sometimes writers go through HUNDREDS of different ideas before narrowing down, combining, or revising to get the final 11 tracks you hear. No song is exactly the same one from start to finish of production. u kno? So, maybe we HAVE heard this song before, just in a different form?

No one knows :s A lot of LP fans are curious. Some think it's one of Mike's unreleased 2005 MTV VMA scores he did. others think it's just an instrumental they've been toying around with it in the studio. it's a mystery right now :( Also, not sure if you know, but LP is releasing an Iphone game, and the prize at the end if you beat it is a BRAND NEW SONG! Early 2010, another new LP song :)

yeah, saying that rob's drums were the first thing the band recorded for meteora, he just used this music that's likely the same time signature of one of the songs from the record and used it as a thing to work off of. I really love the way it sounds though.

i feel the reason they kinda suck now is more so the side projects mike with fort minor and chester with dead by sunrise its kinda hard to make an album espically if they side projects its hard getting everyone together when mike for example said what he needed to say in fort minor it made it hard for a the new lp album minutes to midnight chester has great vocals but it would be better if they did another hybrid theory album in my thats there best album good mix of chester and mike

no it actually is wake... they just changed it up like mad... its the same chord progression, the lead guitar in wake does something to the effect of the piano so u wake up and listen again.... it rly is wake just different... i like this one better tho

Uh, it's not exactly their choice on wanting M2M to sound different than their previous albums, it was Rick's idea to let them push their boundaries and LP decided that they shouldn't use any of their old ideas to make M2M.
