I also travel on train everyday too. :) I have 4 pairs of earphones/IEMs, and the PFE 112 are the most frequently used. Usually I listen to podcast during my an hour long train journey, and the PFE's great mid-range clarity make the podcast sound clearly, and at the same time, I able to aware the surrounding.
BTW, I am using my PFE 112 WITHOUT filter and also use custom silicon ear tips. :)
Your great at reviewing! One question: About the filters, I ordered the perfect bass earphones (come with the green filters). Are the green filters still good for the treble/mid range? My friend said that the green filters would be good to stick with. What do you think?
@kdelplancke As a runner, you'll need an IEM that routes the cables up and over the ears to a keeper at the back of the neck. The Audeo would be fine, also the Shure SE series work very well at staying in your ears while doing significant movement.
This or the shure se215?

Great review, but do you think the pfe112 are worth the extra 50$ or so compared to the pfe 012 just for the extra filters?

@Ashsdrumming No. I'd buy the 012 and then some extra filters.

Hi, love your reviews.
I travel on a train everyday. Do you recommend in ear or regular headphones? Have you reviewed or heard of Hifiman RE0 canalphones?

@newfagscanttrif0rce In-ear are the way to go. Haven't tried the RE0.

but you could do with a better camera, maybe a HD one?
not that the quality is bad,but your viewers would definitely appreciate higher quality. :)
