His figure brought up the myth about gestapo agents, wearing leather coats, hats and glasses, which is not true, but it's sort of the gestapo "trademark". His figure is also the one Herr Flick in the 'Allo Allo' series is based upon. Lacey died in 1991 of cancer, and he is not german at all, he is Welsh. :)
