Aww, they're so cute!!! I used to have 2: Spot and Hazel. Spot died 17 months ago of cancer (still miss him terribly and even cry when I remember him) and I had to give Hazel up because we moved to an apartment and people in the building didn't like bigger dogs and made me give her up. Miss her a lot. They are cute dogs, practically house break themselves! And Spot was so lazy! :D And they look alike a lot! I wish I could have one again *_*
ohhh mannn! We adopted our irish setter from a shelter when (they thought) he was 1 or 1 and a half. Aweee....I always think about how cute of a puppy he was!
my aunt had an irish setter, i loved that dog, she was born about the same time as me. But when i was in second grade a car hit her, i still miss her a lot.
I love irish setters, they are in my opinion one of the most beautiful dog breeds. And how lucky are you to have six of them :)

We lost our Irish Setter "Tabatha" .... may 31,2011. It was one of the sadness day of my entire life, i hope to found another in the nexts months, because our house looks empty without barkings... Tabatha give us 15 years full of happyness and fun, now than i accepted our lost, i know than i can`t live without an Irish Setter. Dam...n its a so lovely breed.
We love your setters! We've raised 4 since 1972. The one we have now we rescued from a PUPPY MILL and she has so many issues. Super Thyroid-with daily meds, she had bloat and seizures. She was 5 mo when we rescued her and is now 8 with a total white face and is starting to get hard of hearing. Our other 3 setters were from responsible breeders and all looked like yours. Heather, our first, also had a little white on her chest and lived to be 16. Good luck with yours! Love the breed!

@zigzak777 They are the most energetic on the breed scale and also one of the most affectionate. Incredibly demanding and frustrating at times. But, if you are a really active single guy or gal, there you go.
@zigzak777 that`s true 100%, i can remember once than all of us takes 4 days of vacations, and we let a lot of water and food for her, but She did not eat as usual until we got back from trip. it is advisable to leave dirty clothes, not to be depressed
@jock3006 These puppies belongs to my dogs breeder from South Part of England. Irish Setters are very happy dogs but they need a lot of attention and exercise. Without exercise they are very destructive. And they love to be close to human being. I would rather do not recommend to leave him in the boarding kennel, while you are at the holiday the dog will be suffer from left alone.
Have two Irish setters myself so dopey, had the eldest aFor six years and now a 3-4month old puppy biting my hand as we speak xDD
