my recording for these videos is: guitar, boss gt6, crate 15 watt mini-amp, playing live and recording with my notebook's camera and mic... nothing else, the background music comes from the original song. I have a mesa dual recto but don't have the right equipment to get a decent recording (it's too loud and the mics get over-saturated).
