  • @spicymeatsandwich He was married to the same (adult) woman for over 40 years. You, sir, are crazy as a shithouse rat. Talking compulsive retard smack about the dead is a fool's game. I hope you get hit by a truck.

  • @spicymeatsandwich Which interviews are these? Who're the writers and when and where did they appear? I know there's no reference to liking under-age kids in the big Rolling Stone Langdon Winner piece from 1969, undoubtedly the "height" of Beefheart's career....anyway, please let us all know about these interviews, there's a lot of Beefheart fans depending on you for this information!

  • YouTube is getting clogged up with this garbage that pretentious D-Bags have agreed to call genius or even entertaining (which it certainly isn't.) Captain Beefheart is objectively bad and an entire generation who did not grow up listening to him has now convinced themselves that they did in fact listen to him before he showed up on some self congratulating "Top_____" list.

Mr. BeefHard is one of many to pull the oblivious genius shtick on Letterman and clearly the least entertaining.

  • @spicymeatsandwich what exactly are you trying to achieve by posting this? If you don't like it, leave it alone. Why would you want to spoil it for other people? It's not doing you any harm, is it...

  • @spicymeatsandwich and even still he was far more entertaining than youll ever be

  • You'll have to excuse Spiceymeathead. He gets a sick thrill out of speaking ill of the newly deceased. Someday, he hopes to march at funerals with Westboro Baptist Church's traveling band of self-righteous and judgmental prigs.

  • @spicymeatsandwich YouTube is getting clogged up with pretentious D-Bags that believe their opinions are facts.

  • @spicymeatsandwich Look! It's that ass clown spicymeatsandwich. Like a flasher "sharing" his genitals with unsuspecting passersby, he stops to share his shameless rudeboi opinion with a crowd that doesn't really care to see it.

  • Rest not in peace, but as you lived; a raining sonic flame, vivid- and by christ did you make the hairs on the neck stand up!- Don, you were not for this world, enjoy your long dance into dust my friend. I speak for all when I say 'Rest In Peace'- but dont be too quiet about it.

  • RIP, Captain. You changed my life.

  • dirty GOLD jean

  • thats a beautiful guitar riff-really beautiful-thanks for uploading it

  • Can't believe I'd never heard this version before. Fan-friggin-TASTIC

  • This is just wonderful . . .

  • the guitar riff reminds me of Angus Young

  • Yeah I can hear that ; bit of Scottish pipes type of riff structure happening there.

The Beefheart stuff like from around the mirror man era reminded me alot of American Indian war dance drumming.

  • oh my god this is awesome! some of the best vocals i've ever heard from the captain.

  • Wow, this is Don at his very best! I'venot heard this before either. I love that about the way he would rework old songs and riffs etc such as on Ice Cream album. I've always loved the energy of the Radar version and I like the field holler feel of this one! What a treat.. nice one captain Brock sir

  • yeah the same here, just when you thought you ve heard it all.

  • Beefheart's voice is great here. It always is though.

Never heard this, thanks for uploading it.

  • Yeah, he can play a mean harmonica too. Hopefully he'll consider going back to making music in one form or another someday.

  • Wow. First time I heard this version. It's rough and bluesy and great. What else can you say about a Beefheart song?

  • how would one go about obtaining this bootleg?

  • he already is, just with a brush and paints

  • Great song!

  • Thanks, I want to get the other pre-Radar Station versions of this too, especially the instrumental one on the Safe as Milk re-release. (although I think the only thing it has in common with the other Dirty Blue Genes is the name)

  • Yup, the instrumental you're refering too has the name Dirty Blue Gene but it's actaully an instrumental version of The Witch Doctor Life.

  • yea iv just added lyrics 2 all my beefheart vids something iv been meaning 2 do thanx 4 reminding me

  • good idea posting the lyrics u get em from the radar staion? #####

  • Yeah man, I think I got the wrong lyrics though, there are a couple different versions of this song and the words here don't quite match up.
