James may is my fav of the 3, theres few things clarksons says that are very biased and just stupid, james may is all around awesome, i want atleast another 5 years from them. with that exact crew.
@gordinhusex01 That James told the person who interviewed him for the newspaper (Daily Telegraph) that Top Gear wont be going on much longer. It's been an ongoing rumour it seems, I think a way of selling the newspapers. Same with the occasional rumours about one or two of the presenters walking out in disgust over pay.

Even if and when Top Gear ends we'll still have James doing stuff, unless something happens to where he can't. People criticise and poke fun at James based on his TG persona. But there's so much more to him than how he comes across on the programme. I love most of his work he's done and does. It's quite informal and educational especially when it's something close to his heart. A lot of time there's a serious/important reason/motive behind things he does such as his Toy Stories.
@highdesertjim Hate VW? What are you talking about? The GTI MkV was their car of the year in '04. The Veyron got an entire episode plus multiple followup segments devoted to it as well as being car of the year for '05. Hammond's love for Porsche is undeniable. Aside from the Poland jokes Clarkson loves to bring out (as is standard Clarkson behavior), I can't think of a time they've been unfair to any VAG product.

In an interview over the weekend he said that they were going to be doing the show until they could no longer do it or when they feel the show can no longer go on. He said he hopes that if and when the show finishes that it goes out on a high.
The media is so pessimistic. If Top Gear does ends. I hope ALL the series gets released on DVD, UNCUT!!! And not from Season 10 onwards and butchered.
That rumour is new. All we get here is that jeremy was getting booted off it because he cheated on his wife and that james and richard were doing some protest eg not filming so TG was basically dead. Media here loves bad things happening to top gear its quite sad really.
I think it's impossible to dislike James May. Such a classy, well spoken, wise and thoughtful guy.
