Woah this is BIG, I can see a ZX Spectrum! Madness, this guy always makes fucked up tunes, but fucked up in all the RIGHT ways! whether he's calling himself, Wagon, Vibert, or another alias I forgot, its nearly all sick. Kinda like a Flylo of his own flavour, and a lot more oldskool
@WeirdBeach Thank you for pointing that out... I cant tell you how it irritates me that popular, mainstream music overshadows the originality & creativity of which it was born.
@justmenate no problem man. i was listening to KCRW here in los angeles a few nights ago when this tune came on, i was thinking "oh thats a cool use of that Jaco sample" because it was used in tons of R&B songs in the 90's and 00's. But when at about 1:12 when the synth came in i was blown the fuck away. so i actually just got into Wagon Christ that night!
@WeirdBeach Well, if your not familiar with Wagon Christ... you probably aren't with Luke Vibert... he's the main guy in this group. Check his "solo" stuff out. Here's my personal favorite... something to start ya off on. Luke Vibert - Eleventy One
Does anyone know the "You like that?" sample? It sounds like Sean Young as Rachael in Blade Runner, but I'm pretty positive she never actually said that.
I smile when I recognize a sample :D
