  • I smile when I recognize a sample :D

  • fuck ya! 3:34 hieroooooo yallllllll!!

  • I love this part of youtube.

  • Vibert is such a legend!

  • best intro to a song

  • Background music kinda sounds like it's a sample of SWV's Rain

  • @dylanparrin Jaco Pastorius - Portrait of Tracy is the original. SWV samples it...so does Chingy - Pulling me Back haha

  • @TheAlaskaBand I was gonna say Chingy too - Sounded familiar. Wagon Christ did a great job of it!

  • @dylanparrin THAT' WHAT IT REMINDED ME OF!

  • awesome!

  • but where he always got that samples from? old television archievments?

  • hes crazy

  • @LIGHTRONIX

Thanks for all those names he's produced under, but why did you delete the comment?

Heres the names again if any1 else is interested:-

plug, amen andrews, ace of clubs, kerrier district, butler kiev, and Luke Vibert

  • Woah this is BIG, I can see a ZX Spectrum! Madness, this guy always makes fucked up tunes, but fucked up in all the RIGHT ways! whether he's calling himself, Wagon, Vibert, or another alias I forgot, its nearly all sick. Kinda like a Flylo of his own flavour, and a lot more oldskool

  • Sweet!! thank you!!

  • SWV-Rain Down On Me watch?v=coV8EozidZk as far that melody...

  • 1:10 dear goodness that synth line is lush

  • woooo 3:16 he's rockin' a hieroglyphics sticker on the lap top.!.!.! Hiero yawll.!!

  • I have been listening to this song & album for months...and it still doesn't fail to amaze me.

  • is it okay that this song made me cry?

  • @dorfnarb55 If this makes you cry, 'Slang' will end your LIFE: watch?v=wvSOquDOfVo

  • @dorfnarb55 Its actually very touching :)

  • @dorfnarb55 No, you will now have to be executed

  • AWESOME!!!!!!

  • This parallels with this song:

A Beautiful Mind - 06 Nash Descends into Parcher's World

It's rather strange but they have similarity,

  • The ladies & gentleman sample on @ 0:02 is from Nintendo's

    PunchOut !! coin-op ^_^

  • Love that old 80s arcade game sample, think it was called track and field?

  • jesus christ would love luke vibert!

  • sickest bass line 2:09-2:26

  • @MrMaxrodriguez Sounds like Squarepusher. Tom likely made it for him.

  • @SnapshotsMusic i just assumed it was sample. fucking big if it was squarepusher!

  • @SnapshotsMusic it's jaco pastorius. taken from his solo album. 'portrait of tracy' i believe. though jenky is def capable of matching that talent

  • @a303romance Thank you. Good ear and good to know.

  • @a303romance lol

  • i miss the "sorry i make you lush" vibe, but this album is still damn good!

  • one small step for man, one giant leap for Wagon Christ

  • Mr. Vibert's schtuff is great

  • Wagon Christ is by far my favorite Vibert offshoot....sample heaven...

  • Sample at 0:23 is from Orson Wells' War of the Worlds radio broadcast. 4:37 of this video: watch?v=egudvdwtDIg.

  • Lazer Dick is better.

  • I reckon theres a subtle sample in there of 'Pullin Me Back' by Chingy ft Tyrese on Capitol Records 2006

  • @dzemal1981 Jaco Pastorious "Portraits of Tracy"

  • @WeirdBeach watch?v=pz9IFn1tnnk

  • @WeirdBeach Thank you for pointing that out... I cant tell you how it irritates me that popular, mainstream music overshadows the originality & creativity of which it was born.

  • @justmenate no problem man. i was listening to KCRW here in los angeles a few nights ago when this tune came on, i was thinking "oh thats a cool use of that Jaco sample" because it was used in tons of R&B songs in the 90's and 00's. But when at about 1:12 when the synth came in i was blown the fuck away. so i actually just got into Wagon Christ that night!

  • @WeirdBeach Well, if your not familiar with Wagon Christ... you probably aren't with Luke Vibert... he's the main guy in this group. Check his "solo" stuff out. Here's my personal favorite... something to start ya off on. Luke Vibert - Eleventy One

    Enjoy!

  • Does anyone know the "You like that?" sample? It sounds like Sean Young as Rachael in Blade Runner, but I'm pretty positive she never actually said that.

  • wtf is this? I mean its just so fricken weird... I like it.....

  • Wow. Same day as the new Bibio release? It doesn't even make sense how much music is coming out right now.

  • Heard this on Gilles Peterson - great work!

  • Love it!

Check the bass sample: Jaco Pastorius - Portrait of Tracy

  • @blurd3 Nice one mate

  • 1:10 = Amazing.

    1:11 = Feeling of love.

    Great song
