nice video ,something like this will always start a debate, I would put the F/A-18 in before the lightning, the lightning was fast but for an Interceptor it had short legs and wasn't very useful in any other role, just my opinion, not saying I'm right your wrong.
Nice video one of my friends kept telling to watch this video, he said that he thought we were in one of the F15 photos.But I am not sure. We are stationed at Langley Air force base,I couldn't make out the number on one of the pics it looked like our jet.
Would have put the F-14 in there for sure, not only did it serve its role in the 20th century, it also brought us into the 21st. With out the abilities of the Tomcat OIF and OEF operations surely wouldn't have been so smooth for ground troops.
@F15RC1 yea the F-14 is definitely a great fighter,i would have it at 11 or 12 in aviation history,only because there were some issues with the F-14's engines and landing gear,although the F-14D did solve some of these but the F-14 still was costly to maintain.but i would have the F-14 as the worlds best Navy interceptor while it was in service.
Great vid:) We could discuss a lot about which plane should be included and which not. But to be honest, if I made such vid, every place from these ten would be taken by at least 10 cool jets xD So there would be 100 coolest jets of all time:D
