@SeltsamerAttraktor Since it is artistic expression, we will discuss so you are entitled to have your opinion and it is worth as someone else. Fact is:
The text placement, blending, and his voice sounds not right in my ears just because the subtitle is a bit far back in the mouth and throat - a bit too high heavy back of the throat. (I am a Master of Fine Arts, Diploma in Copenhagen and has 10 years of education from universities in Scandinavia). My profession: professor of vocal technique.
Bel Canto is the technique that makes u a good singer, doesn't matter if u are singing mozart, shumann, Vaughan Williams, or Berg. Bel Canto is a foundation you can build all you songs on.
video is out of sync, but as i'm sure you know, you've got a great voice. it's nice in particular because it's not an over-powered 'bel canto' italian school of singing voice which would lean to a stretch on the high 'A' (which _sounded_ well within your range). nicely done.

Visualization and sound are out of sync in some of your videos. Please, correct that, because it undermines the credibility of your performances!!

Ignore everybody else's judgment. I don't know why they're all such experts. Nice job. Thanks for sharing.

Wait...are you suggesting that Italian school of singing is somehow inferior to what this man uses? Bel Canto is the perfect vocal technique.
Iareto 3 years ago
for this song, it would be inferior, absolutely.
sirinferno 3 years ago
disagreed, bel canto would definitely be fine for this piece so long as not over done, it wouldn't stretch
slicer317 2 years ago
i'm open to the possibility, but i still don't agree that bel canto is perfect - would hardly fit in gregorian chant
sirinferno 2 years ago
Bel canto has it's roots in Gregorian chant!!!!!
keg646 2 years ago
@sirinferno perfect is the wrong word for it, but nowhere in bel canto does it advocate any "stretching" in the voice
