  • Classic. Ya'll right if you don't know every word your not a native of Memphis or your not a 80's 90's baby of Memphis. Does anybody know when this commercial was made?

  • @ANewEraRecords He was doing these commercials in the late 80's. Around 88 or 89.

  • He's buried in Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in Memphis, TN., and I saw his grave marker, you'll never guess what they put on it...this very saying he does on this video!!!! Don't believe me, check for yourself.

  • @nsureuhamilton Is that the Same Cemetery Bishop Gilbert Earl Patterson is Buried in?

  • @CRobertGray Yes, not in the same area though. Salton is toward the back, Bishop Patterson (G.E. & J.O. Sr. & Jr.) are buried across from the Grotto, Isaac Hayes & N.J. Ford are in this section as well.

  • Meomories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Probably one of the most memorable lines on Memphis television. I watched one of his sermons once. He seemed sincere and genuinely concerned about the city. Maybe I will see him one day in heaven!

  • They ran this commercial in Jackson too. I saw him live when he came to the J, he was in a wheelchair but could still preach up a storm. He used an actual horn of oil poured over someone's head for anointing, not that sissified dab of olive oil on the forehead alot of people do.
