I'm use to having jetbeam olight Sunwayman klarus so it'll be a little different if I decide to get this bad boii but seems like a fun light to jst have.
@powermaks sure, for what it offers. I remember back 3yrs ago this power is only obtainable by custom making. and then you are looking at least over 200 in parts only. power for the masses. times are a changing..
@flashaholix i thought i was crazy for paying 45$ for my ultrafire xml light. (it broke on my several times, but it fixed now!) the tail cap swich is the thing that kept breaking, and then the led managed to get unsoldered from the star board. (beats me how) after soldering with my iron, and soldering a small wire to the swich, i fixed and it hasnt let me down since.
@korling99 Yeah it wont be as bright. I wanted the brightest so I went with the cool. The natural would be nice in the woods though. plus less reflective in the rain/snow. always compromises. Nothing is perfect.
@yifuj No point going past 4A for the emitters. I have measured many many times under various temperatures, unless you are using dry ice to cool the head directly via conduction that is. IMRs might just burn the emitters up.

Very nice video - I just bought the same exact torch in nat white - I like it, but mine does not appear to be as bright as the cool white

@rs666sathan666pk hehe, yeah I guess it's crappy compared to other companies. Seems to be holding up so far though.

The music and the soft speaking made me think this was an apple commercial for iDry.....LOL. But good review. I hope those were protected 18650's.

@maxosd I'm using Sanyo unprotected 18650. Danger is my middle name. Not is my first.

Have you considered using IMR cells? The lower internal resistance should push more current to the LEDs right?
