  • Zack it seems like you focus a lot on front squats these days. Any particular reason you are using them in your modified Sheiko program. Are they your main squat or do you focus mainly on back squats with front squats being the third lift of the program.

  • @warcraftmax I have been posting a lot of front squats because I took back squats out almost completely. I do not like them and I never notice carry over. INFACT I personally notice a few event lifts go down dramatically whenever I squat or when my squat improves. I may start to work it again soon but I am a little mad with squats. I have been working a good dral of oly lifting recently just for some fun as well.

  • @warcraftmax my modified sheiko is front squat/ Standing strict overhead press/ barbell deadlift (conventional), instead of the standard Back squat/bench/Deadlift. I ran #40 if that means anything. It was fun and I have never been pushed to squat like that in my life, however I will need to focus on my events coming up soon. If I were a powerlifter I think it would be my program of choice tho. that or a high volume 5/3/1.
